Grandios. Von Anfang bis Ende. Ein unglaublich freundlicher, eleganter Empfang. Wunderschön eingerichtet. Ruhige Lage. Fußläufig viele Restaurants erreichbar. Das Frühstück war excellent. Große Auswahl und großzügige Portionen, die liebevoll angerichtet sind. Es schmeckte alles hervorragend. Top Qualität. Herausragend für Veganer. Einfach nur toll.

We had a fantastic stay, the host was super and informative. The room was large and bright with a huge compfy bed. We had an excellent nights sleep. Breakfast was mammoth and really tasty. It’s a short walk into town so really well located too. We will definitely be back!

Great host, room spotless. Breakfast vegetarian and vegan, fantastic choice. My daughter who is dairy intolerant was delighted with choice that she had. Enjoyed the dolls dotted around. Most impressed with Spanish Armada tea pot!

Absolute lovely stay, excellent value. Very traditional and welcoming, "Wol" really looked after us, treated us like VIP's with recommendations when we went out and took us through the breakfast menu (which was needed due to the amount of choice and customisations!) Huge portions. House and room had beautiful decor and attention to detail, we stayed in a four poster bed, which was a real treat. Ideal location, away from the busy roads but very close to Scrivner's bookshop (the main point of our stay) and the Old Sun Inn pub. Would come again (when we've learnt how to play chess!)

The room and entire guest house was perfect. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The Victorian furniture and ornaments throughout matched the beautiful building I will definitely visit again

The host was very welcoming. Told us how to get to town and where the cafes and restaurants were. All within walking distance. The room itself was excellently appointed, really appreciated the selection of sparkling and still waters. Overall highly recommend if staying in the Buxton area.

This beautiful victorian property is a gem. We were very comfortable in our 4 poster room. The breakfast is amazing - a wide selection of delicious vegetarian dishes of amazingly generous proportions. Wol is a charming host. Thank you.

Volodymyr and his wife made us feel very welcome, like old friends. Breakfast was wonderful. The entire place was spotless. The ambience is almost 'Dowtonesque' without any of the pretentiousness or snobbery. They even have a beautiful Blüthner grand piano in the sitting room. This was our first time staying here but it won't be our last.

the hosts go the extra mile . fruit , water biscuits , toiletries ear plugs,sewing kit, shoe shine ,cosmetic pads/ear buds in the room. room stunning and spacious. food very large portions and excellent quality and service . note this is a meat free venue but did not detract from us enjoying the food immensely

The house had a welcoming feel, breakfast was delicious (small bowl of fruit was very generous - no idea what size the large one would be!). And in the lounge there's a beautiful Blüthner grand piano, which for me was the icing on the cake. Or even the cake itself...
