Its a budget style hotel with the old structure. It is only 25 minutes walk from the city. Plenty of restaurants along Osborne Street and the hotel has a good restaurant and bar on the ground floor. Very good hotel and bar staff. The room I stayed in was suitable for the price. Parking is limited. Bandwidth was a bit slow but decent.

I stayed at the new george while my friends remained in apartments. They were disappointed that they didn't stay here, great location right in the heart of a bars in Desmond. Rich the owner is a wonderful host and his staff can't do enough for you, with a jam jar bar below me and my fellow 31 stag members sat outside drinking all afternoon. The rooms were spot on, clean, tidy and very affordable, highly recommend staying here if you want to be in a prime location. I'll be back and thank you once more.

We had such a wonderful experience here, Laura and Richard genuinely took care of us over the four nights we spent there before and after our wedding. This place has very positive reviews. The condition of the room is very clean, tidy, and modern, with daily cleaning services. The room is modern and with good hygiene. The small kitchen is well equipped and the receptionist is very friendly and organizing.

I stayed here for my stag night, and it's nice to have a seated area in front. This place has an excellent value but you get what you pay for. It has a restaurant and pub below the bed, so it's fine for one or two nights. Not suitable for family.
