Wow, great reception, you know you're at the bottom of history, or youre going to be costly. I didn't mind while on vacation. After signing in the car registration, which permitted free parking throughout your stay, I was handed my keys to my single room. The lift buttons didn't seem to respond very quickly, but I arrived. View of a brick wall on the third floor. I never complained! As I wasn't in the room, there is a bus stop right outside the entrance that goes to portsmouth city center, navelyard, ferry to how or rail station. But why use the bus? The hovercraft port was a 5 minute walk across the park. The primary shopping district in Southsea is a 5 minute walk away. As I said, the room had a bathroom, but seemed to be a small gap between the sink and bath. Oh, watch out for the glass shelf above the sink! After spending a few days exploring the local attractions, including how I resisted to room service meals. I won't exaggerate the price, but I enjoyed fish chips, and I did have extraglazed carrots. Perhaps due to the higher price, but there was a wedding and his reunion night, I would visit the restaurant for glazed carrots, but maybe not to stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here and wish I could have known this earlier. Even though the food and drinks are reasonably priced, the line-up with Frank and Dino followed by Timeless is amazing. What a wonderful end to the summer.

I had afternoon tea earlier today to celebrate my wife's birthday tomorrow. Great location and staff. Relaxing background music and top quality food. It was the first time we were back. Will return for a Sunday roast in a couple of weeks to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

We reserved afternoon tea online because I received a coupon for Christmas. Lovely surroundings and a warm and welcoming environment. When we sat, tea and water were offered. We were told our order hadn't been processed to the kitchen after sitting for a while, but this wasn't an issue for us since we loved the surroundings, music, and tea. The lady who served us apologized frequently and even gave us free prosecco, but we believed that this was not necessary because we were having a good time. Sweet sandwiches, scones, and cake arrived. Excellent service, staff, food, and atmosphere were everything I needed to satisfy my gluten-free needs. I would definitely suggest it to my family and friends.
