I discovered this pub by chance when trying to get to warlock from the Taissington Craft Fair. Landlady was so kind that I decided to stay for a snack. Staff gave me water and cuddled my dog king. What amazing people run this pub. I'll definitely stay here again.

Ill just lay out the facts, and you can decide if it's bad or acceptable. It is clearly an outdated pub, and the rooms could use some serious renovation. a warm welcome from the landlady. The room appeared to be clean at first glance. little to work. The bedding appeared tidy, and towels included one small and one medium for each individual, even though they were a touch on the thin side. No bath mat. The bathroom blind was mouldy. The mattress was about 100 years old. Hairdryer in the drawer and hungers in the closet. Very flimsy plastic cups provided it's a pub, surely there are spare glasses? Also less toxic. In the bathroom, the shower remains of the previous tenants' shower gel. When you stepped on the bathroom floor tiles, brown watery sludge came up from the floor tiles. We had to use one of the towels since there was no bath mat and could have covered the problem. There seemed to have been a filthy protest at the end of the visit. The room was quiet despite being on a road. Breakfast was ordered a large breakfast and a bacon scrambled egg. I immediately purchased tea and coffee. Breakfast was served in 45 minutes. The eggs seemed to have been tossed over toast, no bacon, and scrambled eggs that seemed like they came from a

I am very recommended! We called in this dog-friendly pub if we needed food. Had a very pleasant welcome from the landlady and a bonfire! The locals were also friendly! There is no menu on Sunday, just Sunday roast at 9: 50 was about as homemade as you can get, it was delicious!
