Staying at St Benedict's is an exceptional experience. Astonishing period decoration takes you to a different era. Well located, excellent breakfast, the bathroom was period too (no shower in ours) - but worth the compromise. So much to look at and enjoy, magical, and a fascinating garden. A worthwhile mini-adventure.

Astonishing house, so much to look at. The whole place felt authentically Victorian, oozing character. We loved the open fire at breakfast. Breakfast was very special, the food and the various serving pieces. This definitely felt like time travel. Would highly recommend, especially to history enthusiasts. Friendly and efficient host too.

We were greeted by Paul, who showed us the house and our room and then welcomed us with a pot of tea and cake which he served in the lounge. It is such a unique property with so many fascinating pieces of art, ornaments and furniture. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this B&B

The bnb is decorated beautifully - the level of attention to detail is superb all of which is curated outstandingly. The service was excellent and our host was super helpful with local information. Our room and all amenities provided were of an excellent standard which ensured that our stay was wonderful.

Staying at St. Benedict B&B was no less than fantastic. Paul & Stephen was wonderful hosts in their beautiful, quiet and very cosy Victorian B&B. When we arrived tea (the best tea we have had in a very long time) and cake was served in a beautiful room with a very beautiful organ. And tea and cake was just what we needed after a long drive. We stayed in "Mr. Parry’s Rooms" and have never slept better than we did in the four poster bed. We give it 10 out of 6 stars, and is already dreaming about to come back and stay at St. Benedict B&B.
