Perched on Paignton’s famous seafront, the hotel offers stunning panoramic views of Tor Bay—best enjoyed from the elegant lounge or the comfort of a sea-facing room. Our room was impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated in coastal hues. Soft linens, thoughtful amenities, and blackout curtains guaranteed a restful night’s sleep, while the private balcony became our go-to spot for morning coffee and golden sunrise vistas. Service here is nothing short of outstanding. Every team member—from reception to housekeeping and the bar—greeted us with genuine smiles and took the time to anticipate our needs. Special dietary requests at breakfast were handled swiftly, and the full Devonshire spread (local sausages, freshly baked pastries, and home-made marmalade) set us up perfectly for beach walks and town explorations. The hotel’s on-site brasserie serves modern British cuisine that cleverly showcases regional produce. We savored beautifully presented dishes—like seared scallops and Devon lamb—paired with a carefully curated wine list. All good. Very happy with my stay. Cgeck in quick and easy. Late checkout discussed and happy with the 12 oclock offer. Comfortable hotel. Bathroom could do with an update but it was fine for a quick one night stop over. Brilliant sea view. Friendly staff.

I just booked this Hotel as a spur of the moment thing with my 15 y/o Son. The twin room with sea view was basic but functional. Everything worked and it was clean. At £150 for the 3 nights I thought it excellent value. Worth the extra £20 for the sea view although more side sea view really but the view looking over to The Grand Hotel and Scarborough sea front was wonderful to just gaze at with a coffee or a beer. We did not eat at the Hotel but enjoyed a drink in the bar in the afternoon for an hour. The Staff were always friendly and helpful. Overall we were very impressed. The only down side was the TV in the room was small but I stood really close to it to watch England v Wales which gave it a "Big Screen" effect haha However the TV had a DVD function so we could watch films in the evening as my Son does not like going out when its dark. Would I stay there again ? Yes :)

Internet didn’t work in breakfast room or bed rooms which was a shame and sadly something many of us take for granted when travelling. I liked the hotel v much, stunning views, quiet, calm, clean and good location. Even has its own small car park, I will use it again for sure. Good breakfast.
