The location is close to the town center and the coast. And then the breakfast was very delicious and with a view of the garden. After that, the location is very good because it is in a quiet location where it is ideal for touring the country.

Our prolonged stay turned out to be a somewhat odd and unlucky first impression. The hotel's cleanliness, proximity to budleigh's town center and the shore, and fantastic landscaping are all advantages. We didn't meet Lorraine, the hostess, and the breakfast was excellent, with a fair selection of fresh fruit and cooked breakfast products. The odd experience we had upon arrival, though, still confuses me and frustrates me. Following a five-hour drive from hampshire, we finally got there on Friday, the bank holiday weekend, at Rp. The website specifies that check is available from 13:00. We were thirsty and tired and eager to check in and settle. While all the windows were open, we parked up and rang the doorbell, but no one answered. We walked about the back of the property looking for any signs of life but nothing. Thank goodness we had friends in budleigh unless we had to find another accommodation for the evening. There was one time brian apologized after I rang back around 70 pm and apologized as if it hadnt been made up for by someone else. A small glass of wine was shared and I alerted brian the next morning. It seemed to be a very rude surprise to be told that I could have this as a goodwill gesture to try to get over the inconvenience of the arrival

After two years out of absence, I finally returned to Budleigh Salterton, where I cleared the various obstacles and hurdles that the pandemic required foreigners to overcome. Because neither Budleigh Salterton nor the long range hotel it's renowned welcome had altered significantly, the effort was well worth it. The entire crew, including dave the chef and Jill, the lovely service woman, aided by dave the chef, increased the brunch this year, making it the focal point for the guests every morning. We liked the usual wide selection for the full English, which was further refined by full table service and tasty options, such as the devon rabbit and a healthy fruit salad of strawberries, melon, and the whole gamut of fresh fruits topped with a delicious creamy plain yogurt. I also enjoyed a delicious poached pear that was just harvested from the yard. This kept me going the entire day. All the other guests were so energized and content that I'm confident their time at the long range with lorraine and Brian was as successful as mine.
