The location is easy to find to anywhere you need to go. The first impression comes from the welcoming and accommodating employees. The room was excellent and equipped with everything you could need and was spotless. The room overlooked a busy main road but if the windows were closed you couldn't hear it. The restaurant offers evening meals, and the service is also very good. The breakfast is very tasty and the staff is very accommodating.

This place is fantastic to stay. I absolutely can't recommend it enough! The stag is an excellent gem! Built on rave reviews, it lived up to them and beyond! The stag is a recently renovated guest house pubrestaurant that is conveniently located in Newport, close to the island's center. A short 20-minute drive from the ferry port at east comes. The very friendly staff welcomed us and checked us in as quickly as possible and assisted with our luggage. A large, free parking lot was quite convenient. We were fortunate to have the only room with a shower over the bath and our room was clean, cozy, and spacious. Every day new bedding was provided and we were never asked if we needed anything else. The wifi was fantastic! Much better than the large hotels on the mainland I've stayed in and very important for autistic children! We always had everything we required, and the cooked breakfasts were fantastic! Best bacon ever! Even my son who has a food intake disorder loved the cuisine so much. We ate in the restaurant several times and the homemade food is fantastic, hot, fresh, and good-sized. The bar has a wide range of drinks and snacks, including mermaid gin made on the island. I was especially impressed that the bar had sugar-free up sprite, something I do not usually find. The entire staff was extremely helpful,

Its very important to note that you want to visit this place because you'll get the heaviest food you can find on the island. And then, the place was very central and also the vibes were warm and friendly. After that, the food that was served was really delicious, so you get the tastiest price and the portions were big. Subsequently, the place's location and atmosphere are so strategic, and the location is perfect for us to stay at the hostel.

It was a shame that we didn't try it earlier. The food is 5 stars. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. I can't wait for food. Very good size, delicious and good value for money.

First weekend away in two years since before the lockdown. It was our anniversary this weekend, and we were looking forward to a much needed vacation. Lovely quaint, welcoming pub. The greatest nachos weve ever eaten were excellent value for the money! Cant fault the staff. Very helpful and genuine friendly individuals. Our stay was made easier by the central location and beautiful views. For lodging, attention to detail is required. The shower was amazing, with strong instant hot water. Our apartment was tidy, but it required renovation. The bathrooms shaking light was inoperable. There was a mold on the bathroom ceiling. We had the worst two nights sleep! The mattress was so uncomfortable, and the mattress was so old we itchy all the time. Had to take the bedhead because it was so loose. What a shame. We had been looking forward to our weekend getaway so much. After 0 slumber, we had no energy, moods were low, if you understand my meaning this really overshadowed our stay here. For this reason, I only give 2 stars. To get a good nights sleep, it is a part of your escape from home. We departed with bad backs, we were very fatigued and disappointed. Dont typically provide evaluations. I believed we had to. This is such a wonderful location with so much to offer. We hope these issues can be resolved
