We loved our stay at Z hotel, Leicester. We booked the Club King room for extra bed comfort as we noticed that kings are hard to find in Europe. The bed and pillows were comfy and there was sufficient space in the room for our 2 carry on luggage and backpacks. The room is very modern with AC and the bathroom-shower is updated, roomy and they provide good smelling shampoo & body wash. Enough space to handwash clothes & hang dry. The shades dark out the room nicely (unlike anywhere in Ireland & Scotland) and the windows have an extra noise reduction separate glass window that you can open to get the fresh air in. We really enjoyed that part. The location is fabulous! We walked to London Tower Bridge, other side of Thames and all the way to Abbey Road studios (not same day). Hotel is close to all the famous attractions including Big Ben and Buckingham palace. Don’t forget to go see the horse guards changeout 10-4p (15 min walk). The staff were helpful and friendly. One of the Best parts is since we purchased the Club access, we enjoyed the INCLUDED food and drinks (including alcohol) at the cafe downstairs (all hours I think). Wine and cheese at happy hour were a daily treat. The chicken avocado sandwhich was also very yummy. The Only downside I have to mention, was the lift (elevator) being broken for 5 or our 7 days. We were on the 3rd floor, so not too bad. We definitely got our steps in walking around town exploring. A definite YES on recommending this hotel!!

Stayed only one evening but if I were to return I would look into this hotel again. Great location, especially if you enjoy or are planning to attend any theatre performances, very central to many show theatres. Close to great food options, the Tube... overall, highly recommend. The rooms are smaller, so be prepared for that. The cafe on the lower level was a great option to refill water bottles, grab a snack (anytime of day!) There is also a food market not far that is a great if you need variety, have food sensitivities or your group/family just can't decide on what they feel like eating!! Lots of options!

The hotel is lovely as are the staff, but unfortunately the elevator was broken for the duration of my stay (one night). The staff helped carry my bags up to the fourth floor. They were very good sports, but they shouldn’t have had to deal with that. Location is smack in the middle of everything, really handy if you’re a tourist. My room (single king) was quite small, which was fine for one night, but would have been tough if I was there for an extended time and/or had to work.

The location can't be bettered. Staff friendly and everything immaculate. The club upgrade is well worth it, even just for drinks in the cafe downstairs. The size of the room, can't be ignored. It is absolutely tiny. Access to the bed is from one side only and the glass partition to the toilet is opaque. Even for a couple, you will need to be very friendly. That said, the bed was very comfortable.

We had a great stay during our 24 hour layover in London! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was unbeatable - in a neat neighborhood walking distance to all the major sites and a 3 min walk to the tube. Transfer to and from the airport was a breeze. Only potential negative was room size- it was definitely very cozy but also very clean. Overall would definitely stay again!

We were very pleased with this hotel. the location is great - even though it is right in the middle with a great location to reach all the best tourist spots it is a nice quite corner. The staff was so friendly and the breakfast buffet was great to get our day started. Also loved coming back for the afternoon happy hour - delicious cheese and crackers with great choices of drinks were all included. I would recommend this hotel

First time a hotel offers drinks, even alcohol with cheese and other appetizers. This type of welcome is worth more to him than all other hotels. Yes the rooms are small but perfect when you come to visit. You won't go there if you want to spend your time in your room. I highly recommend

Location doesn’t get any better! Right behind National Gallery and near subway and lots of restaurants. Beware restaurant pricing is expensive in the area, best to head to soho for slightly more cost effective options.

Couldn't have asked for more from this hotel. Great location and all staff were friendly and helpful from the word go - they accommodated my request for an early check in and swapped me to an accessible room as I arrived having injured my ankle and was using crutches. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. The benefits of paying for a Club room (food and drink included) were very worthwhile. The food was delicious. There were no qualms about leaving our luggage on checkout while we explored the city either. Even the lady cleaning the rooms as we left was cheerful and chatty. All in all a great experience and I will definitely return and recommend it to others. Thank you!
