Alex was a great Host and made sure we settled in with ease, help,a smile and all info needed. Nothing too much,rooms spotless,parking easy and was a great central quiet place to visit all reserves and places we wanted too.

Lovely stay, host friendly & helpful. Breakfast bought to room was a really nice touch. Room was clean. Parked right outside property. Lovely pub with open fire, nice staff, nice food & great ale within 2 minutes walk.

The accommodation was easy to find & parking no problem. Hospitable host. It was perfect for us - we just stayed 1 night. Clean. Good kitchenette. Plenty of windows that open easily, so nice & light & airy. Bed comfortable. Shower not very powerful, but sufficient. Heaters in lounge & bedroom if needed. Breakfast & fruit juice brought to your door & very tasty. Would recommend & return.

The host is very friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The accommodation is spacious with a separate bedroom and living room. In the morning, full English breakfast is served. There is a lovely pub nearby and there are good walks around the nearby lakes. All in all, great location and good value for money.

Just got back from a two night stay at this very comfy cottage. Everything was there that was needed. Bed was really comfy and we really felt at home. Alex was so friendly and helpful. We had a delicious breakfast brought to us each morning which was just perfect. We would definately return and recommend to friends. Thanks for a great stay!

2nd stay at this property. So comfy, clean and lots of thought has gone into the needs of the guests. Breakfast was hot and tasty, delivered to your door at a time pre arranged. 2 minutes walk to local pub that serves delicious food. Definitely would recommend.

I was staying in the area for 3 days with work. I was considering a chain hotel but saw this on Hotels.com. It was reasonably priced and close to where I was working. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. It was a lovely little self contained cottage whee I could finish work and shut myself away from the world. There was a microwave and kettle although no oven or hob but there is a decent pub a few yards down the road for food. A lovely quiet oasis in a busy, frantic world

Everything was great. Lovely linens, nice large towels in the bathroom, easy to park outside. Good to have your own front door. The kitchenette had tea and coffee, a microwave and a fridge - perfect for our needs. Alex delivered the breakfast to the door and it was delicious. He was a fabulous host and is doing a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend. Well worthy of the numerous 5 star reviews.
