We stayed here after attending a concert at villa park. The host was welcoming even though we checked in very late. The room was basic but comfy beds. There was quite alot of noise from other guests but overall you get what you pay for.

The location was convenient for us and the price was good. Don't know if I'd stay again given the choice though. Pretty dilapidated and dirty. Did not feel comfortable climbing into the grimy shower at all. If you're in a pinch and need something last-minute or you really can't afford anything else then go for it. You could do worse.

This was a very cheap hotel, so I supposed i should not complain too much. The man at reception was polite and helpful. The room itself was OK - clean with bed, TV, wardrobe. But the shared bathroom was not up to scratch. I don't know how often it was cleaned, but clearly not often. And there was a huge gap between the shower tray and floor. Also there was a huge amount of noise from people running up and down stairs in the small hours of the morning. But as I say, it was cheap so I suppose it was value for money.

Very basic accommodation, the mattress was more than a bit lumpy and clearly needed replacing and by replacing I meen burnt. I had to fix the window blind as 3 of the vertical blinds were missing on arrival, fortunately I found the missing blind blades in a draw in the bedside cabinet and refitted them. The covering plate for the ceiling pendant light either hadn't been fastened up properly and was now resting on top of the light fitting or had never been screwed up in the first place. There were small communal kitchens on each floor that had seen better days, bit untidy but you can't blame the hotel for guesses leaving a mess it was mid afternoon when I checked in and the cleaners were there every morning. Bathrooms were functional, reasonably clean but again had seen much better days. Missing or damaged fittings, mirrors etc... Over all I'd have to say the hotel is very basic, a bit run-down even though it looks like it had been repainted recently to a standard that I'd compare to student accommodation and from the piles of building materials sat in the carpark some work had been done at some point. All said and done it was cheap and somewhere to sleep.

This booking was for one of my colleague. He did not stay at the property even for one night. The location and the entrance of the room seemed like somewhere underground dungeon or a spooky warehouse. The wall by the bed had damp and the window sill was dirty with stains. It was not a place to stay for £112 for 2 nights. I tried to call the place but never got through. Sent a message to the property via hotels.com but never got a response. Avoid this place.

The bedding was comfortable although the bathroom light at night would not shut off the heater in the bathroom was way too hot. It gave me bought scars.

I get the stay is cheap and cannot expect the world... but i am not exaggerating when i say that nothing worked. TV didn't work, shower drain system was blocked, bed springs were sticking out. Black mould in the room also.

Ok for one night only. Parking onsite. Appears to be a halfway house.
