Excellent accommodation, great mix between hotel and apartment where it feels extra private and you're left alone but with helpful staff (and a drinks/snacks bar) on hand downstairs. Living space is compact yet spacious, offering a kitchen/breakfast area with everything you need. Very clean and good quality appliances and products. We had a lovely stay and will definitely use again. Location was great too, very central and right where we wanted to be. Thank you!

The hotel is clean, contemporary with a simple lobby/lounge, a well appointed fitness room, and a nice laundry facility. There is also a convenient parking garage a short (1/2 block) walk from the hotel lobby. The hotel is located smack dab in the middle of old town Edinburgh, at the base of the Edinburgh Castle. The rooms are small but clean with nice amenities. My wife and I would stay here again the next time we pass through Edinburgh.

Location was fantastic … felt very safe … had early and late check out (for a small fee ). Held our luggage until we needed to leave. Street pay to park but also a Parking garage very close to property. Staff was lovely, friendly, and accommodating. Pay Laundry machine on site was useful. Side note: they do not supply washcloths. Bring your own or buy some lovely soap and cloth at a shop.

Fantastic location, lovely staff, I believe the late checkouts requested caused a delay in our checkin time unfortunately, but staff were nice and offered tea and beverages during the wait. The room was good, think the cleaning staff may have rushed a bit due to the late checkouts, I think I’d rather have waited a bit longer than finding a hair on my bed!

We loved our stay! Our room had the most amazing view of the Edinburgh castle, I would have to say that was a highlight. We enjoyed their continental breakfast. Quality items were available. Definitely the best we’ve had. The location was also great, we walked everywhere, restaurants, and many tourist attractions steps away. The bed was very comfortable as well. The staff were also very helpful with anything we needed.

I cannot praise this hotel enough! First off, the location is outstanding! Right below Edinburgh Castle and a short walk to Victoria Street and all the restaurants and shops you could imagine (after you’ve conquered the stairs you will be walking up many stairs). Secondly, we arrived and the staff were so accommodating and helpful and took our luggage to be stored for a few hours and it was all so easy for us as relatively new independent travellers! Thirdly, the room. Oh heavens above! Absolutely floored. It felt so futuristic and modern and clean and I have no complaints EXCEPT that our room with two single beds, only one of the beds had a charging port next to the bed so my stuff charged under the TV but if that’s my only complaint then that’s how you know the rest of the room was phenomenal. The complimentary umbrella to use during our stay was very convenient in January Edinburgh weather, I did not know I needed such a fabulous umbrella (if I go back I will purchase I didn’t have enough room in my luggage this time) and the selection of teas was divine and every single item was so well organised. From entering the building for the first time to the lift, to the laundry room, to our room, it all felt so secure and safe and modern and just well kept, but do not forget your keycard because I did end up locking myself outside after doing laundry which wasn’t ideal. I don’t normally do reviews but I cannot praise Wilde Edinburgh enough! I’ll be back purely for the hotel!
