Perfect location and stay for our family. We loved waking up in the morning and taking the dog for a walk down the beach and through the park, then spending our afternoon on the beach. Definitely recommend!

Digital check-in and checkout was very easy, Our room was very clean and had all the conveniences necessary. We were right across the street from a beautifully groomed beach and walking distance to several restaurants!

Wonderful location! So close to the beach and restaurants. Clean room and top of the line staff. Was a great place to sleep at night while we enjoyed the beach and Detroit Lakes during the day.

The new owners have done a fantastic job at turning a once rundown motel in to the cutest boutique-style property! The updates are gorgeous and you just cannot beat the location. We were able to be in all the action, but it’s set back from the sidewalk enough and with a yard that you still have space and privacy. 10/10, Will definitely be back next year!

It was the cutest modern motel. My husband and I last-minute planned a getaway to Detroit Lakes for our anniversary. I found Beachfront Haven on the “Visit Detroit Lakes” website in places to stay. It was clean, cute, cozy, affordable, and we felt safe in the area. It is across the street from the lake, surrounded by amazing restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!

This property has been redone top to bottom. It is beautiful and in the perfect Detroit Lakes location. They are redoing the road in front of the lake to make it even more friendly to visitors. The lake is the view from pretty much every room of Beach Haven. You are steps from amazing food. Drinks and patios with Zorbaz, Lakeside and Hub 41 next to this property. They have shuffleboard out front and corn hole to play. They will soon have a small cafe in the front office. Dogs are welcome in Beach Haven and on the patios of all the near restaurants. The park just down the road is home to one of the many trolls! Great place to stay close to downtown and great parks and trails/sidewalks for your pup.

This is a newly renovated motel, now configured into suites. My unit had a very nice contemporary decor and included a living area with comfy sofa and chair, 2 bedrooms with closets, and a kitchenette. My bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette had everything I needed. Loved the bathroom toiletries (Aveda brand). Highly recommend!

Nicely renovated unit, very clean/well decorated. It is located close to downtown and the city park. Also it is on the lake with city beach across the street. When we stayed here, there was road construction between the lake and the motel, which blocked the view a bit and made accessing the parking lot more of a challenge, but I’m assuming that will be completed shortly.
