Four peaceful, basically furnished cabins, each with its own deck, along a nice grassy lawn with views of both Long and Madeline islands. Warm sandy shallow waters that even on cloudy days are begging for a swim. Bring your four-legged family members as well, as dogs are welcome and will enjoy the little hiking trail or roaming the large lawns. There is a boat launch, pier, frisbee golf, fire pit, grills, dish to, and kitchen essentials. Great position between washburn and hayfield, plenty to do if you dare leave the peaceful setting.

We're hoping to return! Our time at the bodies resort was excellent. It was our first trip to the area, and we couldn't be happier with this property. The location is excellent, close to washburn for necessities and a short drive to hayfield and all that the region has to offer. But even being well located, it feels very remote and quiet, right on the water. So peaceful. We stayed in the white cabin, which was perfect for us. One of the main reasons we chose bodies is that they advertise as dog friendly, which they were! Our two dogs loved the enormous yard and nearby areas. The cabin was wellappointed, with everything we needed for a week-long visit. It has a private deck overlooking the lake, and a weber grill that we used almost every night. And since the lake is generally to the east of the cabins, you can enjoy beautiful sunrises! However, no sunsets here, which was not a disadvantage for us.

We recently made a third booking at the Red Cabins at Body's Resort, and it was excellent as the first. Bill was so accommodating and helpful when I had trouble getting the job done. There are numerous dining options and charming stores nearby, such as Washburn, hayfield, and ashland. The cabin is brand-new, has a lovely layout, and is cozy with its furnishings. Everything you could possibly need is in the kitchen. The morning sun is also incredible.

We spent three nights at bodies resort and had a wonderful time. We rented the older white cabin and the new red cabin. Both were very spacious, well-equipped, clean, and exactly met our requirements. The red cabin's lovely open layout made it incredibly easy and relaxing to visit and eat together. Both cabins offered spectacular views! The grounds are in excellent condition and much larger than anticipated. We brought kayaks and it was very simple to launch from their beach area. Mornings were particularly relaxing, having a cup of coffee near the shore and enjoying the breathtaking sunrises. The nighttime was equally fantastic, though, with several areas to have a campfire. Hiking the houghton nature preserve, the sea cave trail that starts at Meyers Beach, the waterfall trails at Copper Falls State Park, and many more hayfield walks through the town and by the marina were all excellent choices. We will certainly return to bodies resort in the future, but we'll take more time. This resort comes highly to me. There isn't a nicer location to stay if you enjoy nature!.
