The hotel was clean and quiet. The rooms were very spacious with comfy beds and pillows. The pool and hot tub were great. Good selection for breakfast, but it was the exact same foods every morning.

Clean, comfortable stop, quiet, convenient & off the beaten path in little Hill City. Short scenic drive to Mt Rushmore. Great value for an overnight stop & a delicious breakfast! Highly recommend!

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel property for four nights while on a road trip staying in the Black Hills. We checked in on a Monday night and checked out on Friday morning. The hotel is obviously very recently built, and the condition of the property was evident of that. Everything seemed new and fresh. We stayed in a 3-queen bed suite, which had two queen beds, plus a private bedroom with another queen bed. The room has both a microwave and mini-fridge, and both rooms had televisions. The room was clean, comfortable and surprisingly quiet considering that we were next to the lobby on the ground floor. The front desk staff were helpful upon check-in and were generous in giving us extra towels and maintaining our room during the week. The breakfast was a hot breakfast and consisted of eggs (scrambled/fried/omelette), sausages, and biscuits and gravy. The guest laundry came in very handy during our stay. I can't comment on the pool since we didn't use it. There was plenty of parking on the property. The hotel is set about a quarter mile off the main road, so it is very quiet aside from the 1880 Train which occasionally passes near the rear of the property. Hill City is a cool little town, with nice restaurants, shopping and museums. Overall, it was an excellent stay altogether, and we would stay at this location again. Highly Recommended (5 Stars).

This Comfort Inn was great. We were out in Hill City to ride the Mickelson Trail and the hotel was very accommodating with our bikes. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful!

Out of the 9 states and 9 hotels we visited during our trip, this hotel was by far the best. It was clean, well-maintained, fresh-smelling, and comfortable. Most importantly, the staff were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. My entire family truly enjoyed our stay here. I hope you continue maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and exceptional customer service that made our experience so memorable. The staff were one of the main reasons we had such a wonderful stay. A special thank you to the entire team for always being welcoming, helpful, and professional. Your genuine kindness and hospitality did not go unnoticed. You made us feel at home and played a huge role in making our family vacation enjoyable, comfortable, and stress-free. We sincerely appreciate all your hard work and dedication. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to offer more healthy breakfast options and add greater variety to the breakfast menu each day. While the food was good, having the same choices every morning became a bit repetitive during our stay. Other than that, we have no complaints at all. Everything was excellent, and we would gladly recommend this hotel to other travelers. Thank you again to the entire staff for making our stay such a pleasant and memorable experience. We truly appreciate your outstanding service and look forward to staying with you again in the future. Keep up the great work! ⭐🏨😊👏
