Fantastic little place. Staff were extremely helpful and kind. Clean, newly remodeled room with comfortable bed. I’ll definitely be making this my new stopping point when traveling to the OBX.

Dawson Inn was cozy and a really nice place to stay. The manager was very nice and pleasant to talk to. The Breakfast wasn't the usual "Holiday Inn" type breakfast but it was all we needed. The room was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the directions given by Google Maps. It took us off on the wrong exit and into the backwoods country on a tiny narrow road and our destination was a wooded lot. I'm glad we weren't traveling at night - we might not have seen some of the hairpin turns. We turned around and when we got back to a small town we called Dawson Inn from a church parking lot. the manager gave us the correct directions and said she has been requesting for Google Maps to change this for a long time without any results! Call ahead and get directions directly from Dawson Inn and you will have a Wonderful Stay!

When I pulled up out front, the woman who runs the hotel happened to be outside. When I told her my last name she knew my first name and where I was traveling from. Check in was seamless and quick. My room was immaculately clean and comfortable. This place was a steal. Highly recommend for anyone in the area.

It’s a small hotel and the staff live onsite. The hotel was very clean and the room was spotless. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity but a short drive away is a restaurant located in a gas station. It sounds sketchy but the restaurant was clean and the food was very good.

Cleanest Motel we have ever stayed in,,The girl Lady ,that checked us in was great and helpful about places to go,Play ,eat ect,Super Quite,,Breakfast options were a little weak,,But we got by..Will book this place again if in the area.

Lovely, clean room! Super comfy bed. Only request: milk or creamer for coffee rather than powder and more selection of jelly for toast. Only grape was available. Check in was easy, staff were very friendly and kind. Highly recommended!

Everything was very nice neat clean and well kept. The breakfast was a bit minimalistic, but other than that the place was perfect. For the price, I don’t know that I’ve stayed in a better place and I stay in a hotels just about every week for work.

Quiet clean hotel tucked in the mountains of West Virginia. Small, charming and conveniently located just off Hwy #64. So nice to support a locally owned business. Best of all NO pets, NO pool so you're not paying for something you don't need. Wonderful staff (owner). Convenient breakfast with nice choices. We've traveled all over the world and this was exactly what we need in a hotel. Will use again. A "10".
