Mike the owner was awesome. He makes a killer breakfast. Rooms are a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The great room was perfect to watch the NBA finals!

The owner made us feel at home and very comfortable. An excellent breakfast is served family dining room style. We enjoyed sitting outside on the patio next to the stream, listening to the flowing water and identifying bird songs and calls.

The room is basically an apartment. It's on a brook and you can hear it from the second floor. Homemade breakfast. 6 different kinds of fresh fruit. Omelet and bacon with jam and English muffin. Mike the host is owner operator and a fantastic guy!! Huge sunken family room... dining room for breakfast. Coffee. Full kitchen in room. View is outstanding. Wildlife is abundant!!

The queen bed in the "Queen plus Twin" room is... very squeaky. Other than that, we loved it here. The breakfast is truly delicious, and made to order!

We arrived after 9pm. Mike was so kind and helpful in showing us where to park and taking us to our room. The room was lovely and clean. It had a kitchen, which we did not use. Breakfast was exquisite. Mike was an excellent host and we would definitely go back.

The room was nice and cozy! The people are what made this stay so nice. Mike and his lovely wife created such an enjoyable, friendly atmosphere for everybody! Really enjoyed our stay in Cuchara! Haven’t been to such a friendly town in a long time, can’t wait to go again!

This is one of my favorite stays ever, the town is a block long, and absolutely beautiful. You can just park at the BnB and walk to everything, you’re right on the creek and the owners are absolutely wonderful people. They have nothing but kind and helpful things to say, they’re ready to help with anything you could come up with. I have a gluten allergy and they were so kind and welcoming! We went to the cuchara mountain park from their recommendation and had such a peaceful time there! If you’re looking for a quiet home away in the mountains, this place is amazing!

We love Cuchara. It is beautiful-one of the prettiest plays on Earth and the Inn is right in the heart of it with a beautiful stream outback and restaurants and shops nearby. Mike is a great host and always makes and serves a great breakfast. I highly recommend it.
