Overall, this is a good hotel, especially for a one-night stay. The room was comfortable, and the location was convenient. However, there were a couple of things that took away from our experience, mainly the customer service at the front desk. When we arrived to check in, the only front desk employee walked away from the desk and left us waiting, even though I'm sure he saw us come in. There was no greeting or warm welcome. He simply asked if we were checking in, handed us our room key, and that was it. He didn't explain where the elevators were, mention the location of the pool, or let us know there was a back exit with direct access to the boardwalk. Since there were two different sets of elevators, we had to guess which ones to take to reach our room. A little more communication and a friendly welcome would have made a big difference and created a much better first impression. Another disappointment was the parking fee. Guests are charged $15 per day for self-parking or $35 per day for valet parking. Considering the cost of staying at the hotel, it would have been nice if parking had been included or at least offered at a reduced rate. Charging extra for parking felt unnecessary and took away from the overall value of the stay. Despite these issues, the hotel itself was good, but improving the check-in experience and reconsidering the parking fees would make it an even better place to stay.

The Hotel itself is nice. It has a seafood sushi restaurant with a bar onsite which was excellent. I will mention, if the valet ( you pay out of pocket ) is full you will need to park in the garage which is across the street. Your room key is what lifts the gate for your vehicle to enter. I checked in and took my bags to my room before going to park in the garage. The garage has no elevators so you have to walk the stairs which are very unkept. If someone has a bad back or knees just know that. You have to cross the streets traffic back and forth to access the garage as well. I ubered once parked to not lose my space because a lot of spaces in the garage have pullars so if you have a smaller car you can squeeze, good luck for an suv or large vehicle. Overall it was a nice Hotel the room was clean, the balcony view was good.

We were sent from another property to this property and the two ladies at front desk were just amazing, like so accommodating yet very processional. This was during the Sail 250 weekend which they were very busy. I’m sorry I totally forgot there names but believe Alisa and Alexa, my apologies for that. They both are truly an asset for the company and I do hope they are compensated very well. I look forward to visiting there again soon. Thanks Lea

This was probably my favorite stay at VA Beach. The property was clean. The staff was nice. The view was amazing. They take cash in case you need that info. The room was spacious and stocked. And the entertainment around the hotel was nice. Highly recommend

When entering the hotel, I was greeted by Trevor at front desk. Usually they are informative about the rooms, parking, any pre-charges, etc. He didn't tell me everything about the parking. The guy outside at Valet was nice and explained the different parking options. Wasn't informed about using the key card to use the elevator. A couple heading to their room explained how to use the elevator. Also didn't explain that I was being charged $200 for accidental or damages. My girlfriend went in to get additional information while I was unloading the car and he was dismissive. Thats the only thing we didn't like about our stay. The restaurant/bar was nice and the bartender, she was great both nights we were there. Back to Trevor, he didnt have an attitude or anything, he just need to make sure people checking in know everything without surprises.

Worth every penny. I had reservations cleanliness but with the prompt responses before my arrival allayed my concerns. During my stay I assured that the AC filter be replaced and they did that promptly. Beautiful view. The atmosphere was sophisticated and simply nice!

This was more of a staycation but the room and view was amazing! There was a bit of a nat problem but I think it was more humidity related. The CLEANLINESS was my favorite part! Not even dust bunnies! I'd definitely go back.

This is an older hotel but it’s well maintained. The proximity to the beach and boardwalk is perfect which is reflected in the pricing. My room had 2 double beds which were extremely comfortable. The room is a little small but if you had more people in it but just fine for a solo traveler. The bathroom is definitely on the small side where the closing door comes close to the toilet but still manageable for me. The parking garage is a little inconvenient because it’s about a block away so plan to drop bags and walk back. It’s not difficult at all just not ideal. The garage is multilevel with no elevator so plan accordingly. There is a valet option at a considerable cost. They park the cars in the same lot. Similar to other garages in VA Beach the spaces are uncomfortably tight. I would definitely return here for a future stay.

Clean room very friendly staff. Loved that it was right on the beach. The restaurant, Mahi's, was delicious. It is in a great location on the boardwalk. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. Only downside was $15 a day to park. Will definitely stay there anytime we come back to Virginia Beach
