The Dunmore was a spotless motel. It wasn't fancy, but it was immaculately clean and conveniently located on our route. We love doing "Mom & Pop" whenever feasible. The air conditioner was a bit strange to operate, and the thermostat on the wall was about to fall off. The beds were comfortable and cozy. We asked about where to dine and were given the suggestion of "The Loading Dock" which was a very short distance from the motel. Great suggestion!! The Loading Dock was excellent! We watched humongous plates of spaghetti and meatballs, gumbo, fries and many other dishes being served. We split a meal, and it was plenty. When in the area, we would surely stay at The Dunmore, and enjoy large meals at the Loading Dock! Don't miss either one!!

Parking was easy. The room was very clean. Each room has it's own heating/cooling and it worked well (although quite loud). Everything in the room was very clean. It was a very small room but it was perfect for us since we just needed a place to sleep. It was very affordable and the staff were friendly. We felt safe there. We didn't hear any noise from others staying there. I recommend this place because it's very clean and affordable. Great if you just need to sleep for the night and spend your days elsewhere. The shower was very clean and the shower head was big and distributed a good amount of water. The towels were thick. There was a refrigerator, all though it too, was very loud. The one thing that threw us was that all the appliances were unplugged when we checked in. We had to plug in anything we were using. We didn't realize this until we had already put food in the fridge and came back 3 hours later to reailze it wasn't running and we had to plug it in. We will stay there again.

I've stayed several times. I'm always happy with it. Very good value for the price. Room is always very clean, and furniture and room are up to date and working. Staff is very friendly. This time, there was a cold snap, and there was a little problem with the heater, so the room could have been warmer.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Little Hotel! I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are surprisingly spacious, clean, and modern. The property is well maintained, and the beds and pillows are super comfortable. The room had everything I needed — a microwave, mini fridge, small table, and chairs — perfect for a comfortable overnight stay. You can tell the owners take pride in keeping everything nice. I’d definitely stay here again!

A bit of a drive through town from I-81. Clean freshly renovated motel . In-room amenities are great for the weary traveler. Mini-Refrigerator has ample space, with a freezer to refreeze your cold pack. Bed is comfortable. Tv has plenty of channels to choose from for your wind-down time. Shower was awesome for temperature control and pressure. Microwave is normal size for a dinnerplate. A single cup Kurig Coffee maker with fixings is over the refrigerator. Beware, it makes beverage HOT enought to scald you with 1st degree burn. A Table with a chairs in the back of the room. Parking is outside your door. Be aware, NO Room for trailers or trucks! Maybe you would have to park next door if that's possible. Priced right for the offerings.

Stayed here overnight for a longer trip, front desk was open late. Super friendly front staff, clean room, quiet. Only complaint was room was quite warm as AC was slightly undersized. Great room would stay again.
