Property was excellent. We had booked it to just stay overnight while on a long road trip...but we would rent it for longer duration too! That's how impressed we were. The only problem is the check-in process. I am OK with the remote and no front office style, but had to call multiple times to get my check-in credentials and it was late in the night...so the whole experience gave us a lot of anxiety!

Motel was very clean. Furniture and items in very good state, price reasonable, nice basic ammenities. We only had 2 problems. 1.- There is no lock on the inside of the doors like a dead bolt or at least a chain. We had on of the service staff just opened the door and try to get in when we were inside. He was polite and apologized but still. Imagine if we had been in undergarments or worse. 2.- The hot water ran out one morning in the middle of the shower. No hot water or even cold in the hot side of the control. I had to remove my shampoo with cold water.

I wish the hotel's website description of the amenities had noted the availability of a microwave in the ice machine room because I had wanted to bring food that needed to be heated up, but I couldn't tell that was possible until after I got there. I was also pleasantly surprised to see a refrigerator and keurig-type coffee maker in my room, but I wish that had also been mentioned on the website.

Great stay! The room was clean, staff was kind. They were accommodating and answered really quickly. Parking was really easy. Overall 10/10. We will definitely be back. It was cosy and had everything we needed plus some. Everything was very accessible and if we needed extras they were just a few steps away. Check in and check out were simple. No safety concerns. We felt welcome. There were shops right next to us too, easy walk or quick drive if we needed snacks or drinks. Thank you!

I’ve stayed here many times when I come to the valley for wine tasting. Pert little motel for my vibe, quiet, easy parking, very comfortable bed & pillows, clean, dog friendly. This last visit was the only time I’ve seen staff on site, mostly contactless for registration and room access. Easy drive to sister property to use the amenities (pool, gym, bar/restaurant), nice dog park close by, easy access to freeway.

We had a wondefull stay at Hotel Hygge. The room was clean and well-kept. Whole facility is nice and looks alluring. Small problems with check in were quickly resolved by nice, helpfull staff via telephone. Parking is just next to rooms. Great hotel!

If I can give 10 stars I would! The staff here are the best! It’s pretty cool because now I live in the next town from where this hotel is next to. Ok this hotel is low key, comfortable, quiet, fun, close to everything and a hell of a good price! The staff that works at Sideways inn which runs this place are the coolest and helped me along the way with everything! This is located within Santa Barbara county and let me tell you the rental market is horrible:( It is worse than where I live in San Diego. So this place is a steel! Each room have a nice comfy bed, a tv, fridge, warm shower and you can use the games there along with swim at the Sideways inn! Thank you guys, Amber, Sienna and our Great Dane Ace thank you!!! Hope to see you guys around soon!!!

This is not a fancy place but is perfect for someone looking for an affordable, comfortable, clean room with all the basic ammenities. It looks like the rooms were updated recently. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The bed was comfortable and parking couldn't be easier, right outside my room. This will be my new spot for overnight golf trips in the area.

Super clean, super cute, bathroom was beautiful and toiletries were top notch. Bed was comfortable and the price was $75 total, a steal. Air conditioning was a little loud for us, so we just left it off. But, the white noise machine was helpful!
