We had no expectations- so finding an impeccable hotel was a delight. We had no anticipation of beautiful bucolic views and quiet nature - so their absence didn’t matter. Had read the food was good - so that it was great was a surprise. The room size - if i had arithmetic skill and spatial awareness would have been obvious - but I don’t- so that the room was Yuge (sic) was great. Pro Tips: book a room not on street side - and above the 2nd floor. Noise level was too high there. Oh, one last thing: great art

We absolutely loved our time at Hotel on North. It was clean, spacious, classic and really beautiful. We traveled with our two young kids, and my only complaint was that the floorboards could be quite loud and squeaky - but that's to be expected from older spaces. Would stay here again, no question!

My favorite place to stay in Pittsfield. Only half mile walk to hospital, so I have stayed there when I had to go for surgery. Friendly and helpful staff. Off street parking. Nice decor. Restaurant in hotel is tasty but an expensive steakhouse, but only a short walk away from other places to eat right in downtown. Breakfast at Otto's is my recommendation.

Lovely “old” hotel, used to be a men’s clothing store, but it has been remodelled into an exceptional place to stay in downtown Pittsfield. Our room was huge, clean, comfy beds, nice sitting area, desk area, coffee/tea area, and shelves of books! The bathroom was huge, clean, and well-supplied. There was a mini bar but we didn’t use it. Private parking in rear with direct access to hotel lobby. Staff was helpful, friendly, and professional. Great place to stay!

Charming hotel in the middle of Pittsfield. Love the art, decor and overall fell. Rooms are charming and cozy. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Great spot to stay with the kids (playroom downstairs is awesome). Love the touch of complementary coffee/tea/hot chocolate - always beautifully stocked and well maintained with great selection of products.

What a lovely room and building. Really enjoyed this hotel. However, the neighborhood outside the hotel was very sketchy and clearly there is an issue with drug addiction in the area. I ate at the restaurant within the hotel and went to and from my car in the gated lot. I enjoyed many other towns in the Berkshires, but Pittsfield was not one of them. Wish this hotel was in a different city, as I would love to stay there again.

Very clean room, friendly staff, and a feeling of being in a “fancy” hotel while still being within budget. The location was great - I enjoyed walking around and felt safe after dark. Easy walking distance from the Colonial Theater.

Our room on the third floor had a small kitchen which really helped once we found very few healthy culinary offerings in Pittsfield. The room was big and airy, with a really nice bathroom. We felt very comfortable hanging out there. The staff was attentive and personable. Housekeeping was very intuitive of our comings and goings. The restaurant was expensive, but tasty and the bartender Kenneth was a character in a good way. Parking was free and secure in the back, fenced in. The neighborhood was a little rough. Probably still recovering from the pandemic, lots of empty store fronts and people experiencing tough times.
