I am from the SE Iowa area and when I come home for a visit I always stay at the Hotel Ottumwa! I've been going there for breakfast since I was a little girl. Best stay around and such a beautiful building. Staff is great and the food is amazing!

Parking was pretty easy, but not immediately evident. Rooms are dated but very clean and comfortable. Good food on site. Good value. I'd stay again.

I love the older style of the building. The tile work in the lobby is wonderful. A very unique stay and I'll definitely keep it in mind on future trips! Pro tip: the biscuits and gravy on the breakfast menu is top shelf!

Very large rooms. Unique hotel stay, a step back in time with all amenities of 21st century. Enjoyed having a “cooked for you” rather than buffet breakfast. No need to drive for dinner or drinks, Tom Tom Tap had it all. Nice area for an evening walk.
