Very happy with the hotel, the friendly staff, the rooms are very clean, the colonial style makes it very different, very good location near the pier, the beach and the city center, the breakfast is acceptable mostly if you go for a walk you want to try the food of the place... you have to pay for parking but in front of the hotel there is a lot of parking

Me and family booked this hotel last minute due to an issue at different hotel. Jocelyn at the front desk helped us out and was so kind and quickly took care of us. The hotel had one broke down elevator and one working on the other side. After hearing this she gave us the room with the elevator working. This hotel is visually beautiful and the rooms feel like a little home. We had a junior suite with a fireplace, a pull out couch, it has a shower and a bath tub and a shower. Also an outside balcony that I believe could used some more TLC. It just felt a bit dirty. I enjoy the little place so much I booked another night! It also really close to the downtown, yummy restaurants, and not too far from the aquarium. I would recommend this place to others!

We booked Hotel Pacific in Monterey at the very last minute, and it turned out to be one of those rare travel surprises where everything exceeds expectations. From the moment we arrived, the property felt warm, inviting, and thoughtfully maintained. The lobby and common areas have a charming, almost boutique-like character, clean, quiet, and pleasantly styled without trying too hard. Our luxury suite was genuinely impressive. The room was spacious, well laid out, and had a cozy fireplace that immediately made the stay feel more elevated. The double beds were comfortable, the balcony added a relaxing outdoor touch, and the overall atmosphere struck a perfect balance between coastal charm and modern comfort. It’s the kind of room where you instantly feel settled, not just accommodated. Despite being a last-minute booking, the service was smooth and friendly, and the hotel never felt overcrowded or chaotic. The location is also ideal, close enough to walk to the waterfront, restaurants, and Cannery Row, yet tucked away just enough to feel peaceful. Hotel Pacific ended up being far nicer than we expected, and it genuinely enhanced our time in Monterey. For anyone looking for a clean, charming, and surprisingly luxurious stay, especially if you’re booking on the fly, this hotel is an easy recommendation.

The location is ideal for us; we were able to walk to local spots to eat, Cannery Row and Fishermans Wharf. Also, plenty of historic spots throughout the area. We found the staff extremely helpful and they attended to our needs efficiently. The space is lovely and we enjoyed our time there.

Everything about this hotel was great. Very family friendly, great location, great breakfast. Late checkout option available for an extra fee. The elevator wasn’t working consistently so that made it a little difficult to bring all of our stuff up. But other than that I have no complaints and we will definitely be returning.

Yes, book here. Or actually don't, then they'll be room for me to return. This was an amazing set up. Spacious room with fireplace, balcony, the windows opened, ceiling fan, two showers, a couch, two extra chairs, a table set, walking distance to everything. And all this for the proce we paid....just no complaints! So glad we booked two nights for a quick get away. Planning to come back with my family joined by my friend and her family.
