Front desk staff (including security and valet) were outstanding. Cleaning staff seemed not as friendly during the free times I saw them. No saying hello, or evening returning the greeting, on the phone, or just not as customer-aware as the front desk staff. Also appreciated that air and heat worked in the room. Only negative regarding the room is the lack of ice dispensers. Overall, a great stay and I will definitely consider this one of my first choices in the future. Great job to the front desk/security/valet staff - I appreciate you all. Finally -- no one was at the front desk when I checked out (approx 02:45) - so I had to leave my keycard on top of the laptop at the front desk. Just a FYI.

Due to our normal hotel being booked solid, we chose the HU. What a happy accident! We now have a new favorite! Staff is friendly and welcoming! Ms Ebonie and Mr Willis will take good care of you! Great place!!

We enjoyed our two nights a Hu. Hotel. The location is fantastic. For a downtown hotel the parking arrangement at a garage across the street is convenient (although expensive). The staff (and particularly the concierge Dedrick) were extremely welcoming and helpful. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. Breakfast is for a fair price and looked appetizing although we found several good breakfast spots nearby. The rooftop bar has fantastic views! The only negative to our stay was that the carpets in the hallway (13th floor) and in our room were badly stained and sorely in need of complete replacement. Once the hotel addresses this issue, we would give it a 5-star rating.

Rooftop bar closed hour earlier than the time listed online and on the outside door. However room was very clean, comfy bed, good coffee! Parking is 22$, but that was less then surrounding hotels !!

Roz the desk receptionist went out of her way to make us comfortable during our one night stay. She recommended a Bbq restaurant within walking distance. It was soo good. Our room was conveniently located to the elevator and morning fabulous full hot breakfast. Parking garage was located directly across the street.

Great hotel in a great location. Very good value. The rooftop bar has amazing views! The only suggestion for improvement I have would be to replace the carpeting in the hallways. Otherwise, everything was great!
