This is a low-cost hotel with free parking right on the beach boardwalk. We had a grd floor room, which consisted of walking up 28 steps and 2 landings between them. If you have mobility issues, this might be a problem. But, the balcony had a great view that you probably wouldn't get from the first floor shrubbery. Great sunrise view. Easy walk to neptune statue and restaurants. One is next door, fish tails. The reason for the three stars is for the people who frequently smoke marijuana on their balconies. On my vacation, I didn't want to deal with that and found myself not using the balcony as much as I would have.

A motel that is dated and outdated. The manager is incredibly kind and actually lives on-site. Everything in the room was tidy, and everything functioned as it should. Although the edges of the mattresses need to be replaced, I was able to sleep well. Surprisingly quiet. Great location with a fantastic sea view room.

We made reservations at this hotel based on several prior online evaluations. This is an older, family-run establishment. Nearly a week passed since we remained. The third-floor room was really affordable, had an amazing ocean view, had some upgrades, and was very clean. The room was cleaned and had some upgrades. We particularly appreciated the hardwood flooring instead of carpet, the comfortable bed, and the free parking. Most importantly, the customer service was excellent! We had both great experiences during our stay! We are grateful to Jimmy and Lily for taking care of us while we were there. They made sure we had everything we required. This evaluation is driven by the quality of customer service. In short, we would book again at this location. Outstanding service and cleanliness are hard to come by these days.

About Ocean27 Hotel

Lying right on the oceanfront, this family-owned and operated hotel is conveniently only a stone's throw from the Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center, the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier and the Convention Center. There are two international airports relatively close to the establishment (23 and 46 km away). All the inviting guest rooms are seafront oriented and have either a private patio or an individual balcony, so guests can watch the activities on the pier or do a bit of dolphin spotting.
