The breakfast was excellent and a lot of options. The front desk offered a voucher for us to enjoy the private beach. The only bad side is that the property doesn’t have an elevator

Location and convenience was great. Having access to walkable private beach access during July 4th weekend was a huge plus. Amenities were okish. We did not have breakfast post day 1 as it was a small space, too crowded and eggs felt stale. Would go again though for everything else the place had to offer.

Our room had the heart shaped hot tub - very relaxing, no beach view - towels were designed on the tub - toilet paper roll had a fancy rose petal design. 1 thing I found odd - I'm an early riser and at 530am in the morning there were housekeeping bins overflowing with laundry - carts with supplies left like end of shift guys leave it and go home. Other than that the staff was friendly, the check-in lady was very thoughtful in giving us the layout of the land with handicap parking people will call the police and don't leave pets in the cars they will break windows to help regardless of signage pet is okay with water and food.

The room was clean. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The pool area is a nice amenity with a bbq which we used to bbq steaks and brats. Breakfast was yummy and filling. The Lakeshore beach was just ok. We didn’t care for the course hard sand and long walk through it to get to the shore. We did find Eldorado Beach a mile down the road which we didn’t have to pay to get into with a nicer sandy beach and they played live music. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. Thank you Quality Inn for a relaxing mini vacation.

The Quality Inn was very nice. It was tidy, very quiet, and walking distance to downtown South Lake Tahoe. There was a patio table and chairs outside of our room that gave us a wonderful end to our day with charcuterie and drinks that we brought with us. The breakfast was also great with pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, and a variety of breads, cereals and yoghurts.

Definitely recommend overall. We stayed for 3 nights and found that our king bed room with the balcony was spacious, clean, and well equipped with a mini fridge and a microwave. The free breakfast was amazing, basically anything you would go out and pay at a restaurant you had downstairs included in your stay. An added plus was the beach vouchers for the nearby private beach that you can ask for daily at the front desk.

Only stayed one night but we found everything to be great! Beds were comfortable, rooms were clean and breakfast had a nice variety and lots of it! Distance to the lake was walkable but just know it was downhill to get there and the uphill to get back. Definitely would stay again!

Nice hotel for the price. The room and beds were on the smaller side, but everything was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. There is a pool and a gym, which was great. The breakfast was amazing. We enjoyed our stay.

This was my wife’s and my second stay at this hotel. It’s not a luxury resort or the most expensive hotel around, but it’s comfortable, affordable, and consistently provides a great experience. One of the main reasons we came back is the beds—they are incredibly comfortable and some of the best we’ve slept on. For the price, it’s an excellent value, and we would gladly stay here again.

Five stars based on the strength of value and service. The staff were helpful and friendly, hot food on breakfast buffet was well attended and refilled. The building does show age, and wear and tear. Our amenities worked, the fridge was a bit noisy. But given the nightly price, my wife and I felt we got what we paid for and more. I'll repeat, the staff was helpful.
