The staff and reception were very customer focused and very approachable and friendly. The room was clean, quiet and air conditioned. They even got the room ready for us as we called ahead to find out it an early check in was possible. Safeway was close for a meal ( deli take out ). There were a couple of food trucks and a breakfast place in town. Also close by was Grocery Outlet and Dairy Queen. Pet friendly. Happy to come again

The owners are making progress on reviving a motel that still needs work on the outside. The room was in excellent shape. Not luxurious but very clean and comfortable.

Silver Spur is a great place to stay as a half way point between Oregon and Idaho. The staff were excellent, the room was comfortable. Not a lot of options to eat, there is a Mexican restaurant, a breakfast place, Safeway and a few food trucks. Hines is close by. It is pet friendly and the rooms are ( upper floor) under maintenence ( construction )..no noise though and very quiet. 4 stars

Cute spot! They’re doing renovations so there’s some construction stuff around but the rooms are clean and basic amenities provided. Nice AC too.

The exterior of this motel does not look good, but the room that we stayed in was newly renovated and beautiful. Slept great, good ac, new appliances— in short great stay. Highly recommend!

Our stay was great. We had a late arrival and the staff was friendly and helpful. The motel is under new management/owners and are in the process of making updates. Our room was clean and updated. We will definitely stay again on our way through Burns Oregon.

Check in was a breeze, the staff was so friendly! The room was clean, parking was right outside, very lottle noise. The shower was amazing! Excellent stay, especially at the price! And I could bring my beloved pup for a small fee. Will stay next time we blow through town!

Under new management. Put in new flooring. New beds new bathtub and shower. They are giving it a complete overhaul. Very quiet. Well lit parking area. Have stayed there 4 times and I will again. Great price. Highly recommended.

From the outside, it looked very sketchy—the reason being it is under intense renovation and needs a paint job on the outside. The renovated rooms have good amenities, are spacious and clean. The manager Marisa was very accommodating and friendly. The motel ended up filling up and the parking lot was full. It is easy walking distance to a taphouse, food trucks, coffee houses and gift shops.

The Silver Spur is literally a landmark with new owners working at getting it back to it's former glory. It has personality that chain hotels cannot match.

Refurbished room: Excellent (Hotel is undergoing remodel/renovation, so not everything is done yet. That's understandable) Staff: Excellent * Would recommend a blind/shade on the window over the bed adjacent to the bathroom: Morning light couldn't be blocked out.

Nice little motel in Burns, Oregon. In transition for remodeling rooms and exterior. Room was excellent for one night stop over, clean, and had all the essentials.
