I really enjoyed my stay at Sunrise Beach Motel. The location was beautiful and relaxing, with easy access to the beach. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. It was a peaceful place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

I had a wonderful stay in a deluxe room right on the water with a patio. I was able to bring my fur baby (beagle) along with me and she loved it too. The room was clean and recently updated. The view was the best, I could see the Mackinac Bridge, which I absolutely love and also the Island. It was a little chilly when I was there, but the patio doors were perfect to sit and look out at the water and enjoy it all from inside. I believe I saw 8 Freighters go by that day as well. Staff were great! Very welcoming and friendly. I definitely plan to return again! I’ve also told others about it and they are planning on coming there as well. Also, even though it’s in Mackinaw City, it was down far enough it was quiet, peaceful and very relaxing, without all the people everywhere like downtown and down right by the bridge and fort. It’s the perfect spot to relax and recharge!

We were originally going to stay in Traverse City but they had no availability in pet friendly hotels, we had searched for hotels around Petoskey and surrounding areas but no luck! We decided to try and book in Mackinaw City and luckily we were able to get 2 rooms and pet friendly. The gentleman behind the counter was managing the people the phone calls asking for room availability some people were upset but even he didn't expect the busyness but he didn't lose composure and remained polite! The rooms looked like they were being remodeled clean sheets, towels. Only problem was no television, luckily I was able to watch my shows on my phone! Also if you are scared ofspiders dont look up the door frame! Id stay again!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Sunrise. Loved our view from the balcony it was just beautiful to have the window open at night and morning. Room and bathroom were nice and clean. Staff was nice as well. I will consider Sunrise Beach Motel in the future and will highly recommended to family and friends if they ever visit Mackinac Island.

The property was a little run down. The shower leaked hot water when on and would burn if not careful. The private beach was amazing and made everything worth it. Our room did not have a microwave, but upon rwquest we were brought on. Staff was very nice.

This was our first visit to Michigan! While we only stayed here one night it was nice. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pits outside! My son enjoyed the pool and I enjoyed our view of the beautiful sunrise the next morning! It is right off the lake which was a gorgeous setting. Close to Mackinac, but just outside the hustle and bustle. Easy to get to and parking was ample. No elevator, so be prepared to take carry your items to the 2nd floor. The staff was great and very accommodating! Our room was one of the renovated ones on the 2nd floor and we loved it. They did a really great job on it. The mayflies were awful though if you left the porch light on next to your door ... so we just kept ours off (just slightly unscrewed the light bulb). Stayed here June 13-14.

Room was very clean, freshly redone and adorable. Beds were comfy and the view was great. Within 5 minutes of all major destinations in Mackinaw. Staff was friendly and quick. Would absolutely stay again!

We love the fact that we had a beach view with a door wall. We can walk right outside. It was beautiful …the kitty cat (Peanut butter)and the host in the office made our day. On the downside when we arrived, we had no towels. My bed had no blanket and the floor needs a good mopping was pretty dirty. Other than that. It was a good stay comfortable. The beds were very comfortable.

I don’t think I have had a better experience with a staff. They were extremely helpful, extremely friendly and fun to chat with. The location was great, we walked out of our room and ten steps to the water. There was a little fire pit outside (have to bring your own firewood but that’s ok) and a place to set up my travel grill. The renovated room was very nicely done and great cabin feel, plenty of linens and towels. The only suggestion I would make it to update the in room furniture. Wasn’t awful but could really elevate the space.
