Perfect place to stay for our stop over heading back to Round Rock. Darling room, nice big TV, clean room, and walking distance to the Big Texas steakhouse ranch right next door. We had the king bed room and it was very nice. Will definitely stay here again!

I really enjoyed my stay here at the Big Texan! It is definitely a must-stop along the Route 66. There was contactless check in and it was in a very convenient location aswell close to many points of interest. The decoration was fantastic and we ate at the restaurant aswell which was delicious. The only downside was that there was no breakfast included but Buc-ees was quite close and we were able to get an affordable breakfast there.

The beds are a little outdated. Both my wife and I woke up with backaches and pains from the mattresses. We got two Queen beds, and neither one of them was any good. On one of them, you could actually hear the springs as you sat down or moved around on it. Neither one was comfortable enough to fall asleep, but when you wake up in the morning, you're going to know you were sleeping on a bad mattress.

It's a fun place to stay. No frills and quirky. The rooms are clean. We have stayed twice and both times the toilets were not securely fastened to the floor. The property is a bit run down outside. Still great place to stay if your having dinner there. Despite it's downsides we will come back again when traveling thru
