In town to run the Leadsville Heavy Half Marathon. Year four. Love this historic hotel for what it is. Right next the start live of the race. The styaff is incredible nice and helpful!!! The resturant has come great dishes.

Great stay in a historic hotel. Breakfast at the mineral 1886 was outstanding before a great hike around the mineral belt trail Enjoyed Pizza on Thursday night at high mountain pies where they had a great open area with a band. Kids playing. Friends talking, great beers and outstanding pizza We will be back

Everything was as advertised. The rooms and hallways are very historic. They told us they don't have an elevator so if you're not up for it rent second level rather than third. We were told parking might be a problem, but it wasn't for us. They have a parking lot which you can see from your room. The restaurant had great food for Breakfast, lunch and dinner. We would recommend this stay for those interested in the local history of Leadville.

We really enjoyed this historic hotel. Be prepared for some stairs as there is no elevator and you may be out of breath if you aren't accustomed to the elevation (we came from sea level!) But it is worth it! The hotel is right in the center of town and very convenient to shopping, restaurants, the train station, the mineral belt biking trail, etc. We parked our car and then just walked (or biked) everywhere! The staff was very helpful and the restaurant was great.

For a 140 year old hotel, the Delaware is charming! Staff exceptional, restaurant inside which made it handy during a heavy snow. Delicious!
