The only problem we had was that we had checked in the day before and still we’re not allowed to valet park when we got there because there was a concert that night and they were allowing random people off the street to park in the garage and not holding spaces for people that were staying at the hotel

Overall, the Wyndham served its purpose…a resting place between Morgan Wallen related activities. The hotel itself is rather “old” looking. A lot of worn, wood furniture. Very brown like it stepped out of the 70s or 80s. The staff is very friendly and made the experience great. The buffet at the Wyndham is hands down the best hotel buffet I’ve ever had. The hostess, Lana, (I think that was her name) was very sweet and made my departing breakfast memorable. Also if you are visiting the area and are looking for Pittsburgh tourist trinkets and shirts that are not the Steelers, go to Rally House Sports. They had a great selection! Thank you, Morgan Wallen for bringing me to Pittsburgh!!

Rooms are dated and small, but clean. Common spaces are updated and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We stayed on an upper floor and it was very quiet. Also, a great view of the river, state park, and Mt Washington. The best thing about this hotel is location. Walk to almost any downtown destination, including stadiums. Short drive to other interesting places like the University of Pittsburgh. This is a great city and if you enjoy walking to see a city, this is a great place to stay. If you are just going to hang out in the hotel room, this may not be the ideal place for you. Breakfast was included with our room and was very good. Buffet on weekends is excellent. They will even make you an omelet upon request (included). If you bring a car, there is only valet parking at the hotel and it is pricey! But you have in and out privileges at any time. Otherwise there are nearby parking garages for less but the clock restarts every time you leave and return. So the end result may not be cheaper.

GREAT location! It was well within walking distances to all areas downtown, PNC park, and the beautiful park directly across the street. The river view was well worth the price. Double queen room was a little smaller than typical but plenty of space for my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children under 10). Pool was comfortable with an AMAZING view as well. Staff were fantastic at helping with directions, places to go, etc.

Our room was very clean and we had a nice view of the river. The shower was extremely small though and the bed was not very comfortable. The walls are quite thin so you could hear your neighbors quite well unfortunately. The pool area was quite small for a hotel that size. The hotel itself was in a great location making it easy to walk to where we wanted to go. Hotel itself is a bit on the older outdated side. Not sure if we’d stay here again.

The coffee machine in my room wasn't working so I went down to the front desk explained the situation Charles sent out the request and the from the time I got back to my room from the front desk maintenance was there with a replacement. WOW!
