Was really quiet when I was there, only saw a couple other guests and only had one roommate. Curtains and outlets on each bed, bathrooms clean.

Very kind receptionist. They were very kind and helpful with everything. The hostel had a lovely roof. The rooms were clean and working and the bathroom was clean too. We had a very pleasant experience here and would definitely recommend it to all travellers.

Alleyway started off as promising with good ratings on review sites. However, we found numerous cockroaches during our 4 night stay, some in the bathroom and a couple in the bedroom. It was our first and only encounter with cockroaches in hostels during our month of Southeast Asia. Also, the bathroom had only 3 combined showers! And the rooms were a little cramped. No hooks or shelves in the beds or bathrooms, which was really inconvenient. Throughout the stay, the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was decent and the bed was comfy. Without the four cockroaches, I would give this one star rating.

The location is excellent, which is conveniently located near attractions, restaurants, and shopping. There is a large closet for each bed. Another person wrote that they could be accessed with the help of the bed. My dorm room's lockers were secure, and I can assure you that. The bed panels were bolted down! The breakfast is fairly straightforward. Eggs, toast, and two tiny pieces of watermelon. There are also only two extremely little tables to sit on, indicating that you must stand if it gets busy, for example, over six people. It says check in from rp. However, rp's room was not prepared, and we had to wait for a minute. We had reset in advance. When we made our payment, and that was after the official check-in time! On application, you can see how many beds are accessible in each room. I specifically reserved a room with fewer people and was placed in a fully empty room. So each time the room becomes extremely cold, you must go downstairs to request a reduction. The dorm room's privacy curtains could as well be absent. They are extremely thin and see-through. The internet is terrible once you enter a bathroom, and it took a few minutes to load a google search. Downloads were impossible. The dorm room's air conditioning remote is housed

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay at the alleyway with its nice and clean staff. The beds are comfortable, clean and comfy. The facilities and complimentary breakfast is also good, they have tea, coffee, and water available. The walk from the alleyway is only 5 minutes, and the walk from the market is 20 minutes.
