It's not a luxury hotel, but the location is very strategic and a friendly and professional person who works at the hostel. I recommend this hotel to you who are travelling to Hani. They will help you with everything you need concerning bus trips and general information about the city.

The family that runs this place is so friendly and accommodating. We got one of the larger rooms which were very spacious. Everything is clean and the bed is comfortable. Near the night market and many good restaurants, especially local indian. I can't recommend this place enough.

I had a very pleasant stay at the North Hostel. The room was relatively inexpensive but certainly adequate for the price. Even though Hanoi is a very noisy city, due to the hostel's location, we had no trouble sleeping. The owner assisted us in reserving a cheap 28 dollar trip with kayaking but a fantastic trip to Ha Long Bay and a bus from Hanoi to the spa and back to Hanoi. Definitely recommend, especially if your on a budget!

This hotel is recommended. The owner was very nice and friendly, he let me check into my room very early in the morning when I had just gotten off the sleeper bus. The room is clean, the bed is comfortable and the showers are hot. They helped me book a bus to Ha Long bay and to the laws, and even offered to let me leave my luggage at the hotel when I visited Ha Long Bay.
