Tegal Station

Tegal Station is located at Jl. Semeru 16, just a hundred meters away from the town square. As a large type A train station, it serves a wide variety of passenger trains with intercity and long distance routes. The current station building was originally designed by a famed Dutch architect, Henri MacLaine Pont. The previous building before that was replaced due to increased passenger demand. Its central location is close to many restaurants, hotels, and shops as well.

 

Passengers can buy or print their tickets with the counters and machines available within the station. A waiting area is available alongside other facilities such as an ATM gallery, a health clinic, toilets, prayer rooms, information points, and nursing rooms. Stores and restaurants are also found within the station premises, making grabbing any last minute meals or necessities easy and convenient for departing passengers.
