It was a wonderful time at Tongfu. The cable car terminal, from where cable cars run to the beautiful yangjiajie and buses bring you to the golden whip stream, is conveniently located inside the national park. However, our journey largely ran smoothly because of the amazing Carol and her cheery family. He was always available about what was happening when we got there, and he also offered to drive us down to the town center, pick us up from the bus stop, and help us sort out the park entrance ticket ticket. In the meantime, while we were waiting for Carol, we met another traveler who was staying at one of the more opulent hotels but was incredibly dissatisfied with the lack of atmosphere, staff, and meals there. Our trip to Tongfu was quite different. Carol and her family were available whenever we needed them. From arranging a discount on our cable car journey to drawing maps for our route every day, preparing us delectable brunch and suppers, to running to the cable car station to make us feel more confident about our trip. We would suggest Tongfu to anyone and would return there in a heartbeat!.

It is a part of the family's home, the guesthouse. The view of the mountains is breathtaking, and it is only a 5-minute stroll from the guest house. The accommodation was extremely reasonably priced and received a pick-up from the zhangjiajie train station. The staff family is really friendly and helpful, she does speak English. We understood that traveling through the national park by bus with a few changes and walking the various sections of the route costs at least 2 hours one way. Because it is just a short walk from the glass bridge and one hour. The door to the other part of the zhangjiajie national park is only 1 hour one way. The rooms are air-conditioned, but due to their poor insulation, it takes a long time to heat them up. Maybe it is a sign that the family does not appear to use the air conditioning due to expensive electricity bills. The shower head is centered just over the same opening, and the toilet is made of Chinese-style toilet. Overall, the restrooms weren't the place you wanted to spend even a second longer than required. There isn't much to enjoy around, aside from the national park, so when darkness came, we sat inside and tried to escape the frigid. I'd only advise seeking this location during the warmer months and only for those who are comfortable with isolation and simple

Hello, fellow travelers! In the previous reviews, I have excluded my opinion with the caveat that travel styles are extremely subjective. So, in order to determine if it matches yours, I'll give you a sense of my travel style. While I do enjoy a few luxurious accommodations, I prefer affordable lodging. My basic requirements include a tidy, orderly, secure location. If I only intend to sleep in my hotel, I don't always require all the comforts. Consider also that my standards might be a little more negotiable if youre like my mother considers staying at a vacation inn camping. Take into account that my standards might be a little higher. With that being said, I heartily endorse the tongfu inn for those visiting the Zhangjiajie Mountains in human, china. Since the inn's management may have been my favorite part of the trip, I highly suggest the tongfu inn to travelers visiting the Zhangjiajie Mountains. First off, carol is the daughter of the husbandwife team who runs the inn. She communicates well with what and can help you plan your journey while staying there. Although it was fairly simple, we had a comfy mattress for our requirements. The inn is fairly expensive by American standards, but by American standards, the inn is likely a 2 or 3 star hotel

At this location, we stayed for four nights. I ordered a chinois room because I thought it meant decorations, not holes in the bathroom floor, and what a smell that the bathroom has. That location is excellent. A lovely view from outside, not inside our room. Nobody speaks English, and the bed smells like ruins. The receptionist must call his daughter when I need to translate. She believed she was living there. I also didn't like that the guy who works there forgot that we were paying for beer and water and charged us twice. Several times, water pricing has changed almost daily. It's a very low amount but is about principle. It's a very cheap place to stay, but please don't deceive your customers by showing photos of a beautiful property when it's not like that. I frequently contact them regarding the airport's transportation. I didn't receive any response. None of the airport's taxi drivers want to take us there. One did for 300 yuan. double the amount that is typical. Try to showcasing reality instead of what you are doing right now.

I really like to be away from tourist hotels, this place is an amazing local Chinese private hotel. The service and local cuisine are excellent, so you feel very integrated into Chinese life. The room was OK and clean. Very quiet.
