Since the apartment is given as a "tourist rental", according to Italian Law we must prepare a contract. For this reason we must receive some data from the guest who will sign the contract before arrival: Name and surname, date and city of birth, nationality, full address and (if available) Italian Fiscal Code. A copy of the contract will be sent to you before arrival. At check-in you will find the printed copy.
All guests of age 12 or older must pay, at the arrival in cash, a City Tax of 6 Euro per person per night.
When possible, we will be happy to welcome you personally for check-in. However, the standard form of check-in will be self check-in. Before check-in we must receive photos of the documents (passport, or identity card) of all guests, to send their data, as required by Italian Law, to the public security authority. All data received will be used only for this accommodation.
The standard check-in time is after 15:00. We need to know in advance the expected arrival time and the means of transport you will be using. In case of arrival by train we would also like to know the train number. If you arrive by car, we suggest you find out about traffic restrictions in the Historic Center of Florence. We are anyway available to provide additional information and advice.
The apartment is NON-SMOKING, and smoking is not permitted, even in the stairwell. Guests must not behave in a manner that could disturb the neighbors. We have no strict restrictions regarding pets, but we must inform them in advance. The apartment must be left clean upon check-out. In particular, guests are expected to wash any dishes and cookware they have used.
Check-out is absolutely no later than 10:00 AM. Apart from this limit, the check-out time is flexible, but we want to know it at least the day before your departure, because we would like to be present. After check-out, on the day of departure, we will no longer be present.
Upon request, free luggage storage is available after check-out, sometimes shared with other guests. We therefore assume no responsibility. Alternatively, we can recommend nearby paid luggage storage services.
In case of questions or problems, we are always ready to respond, through Agoda messaging, email, Whatsapp or telephone. However, since we live quite far away, we try to come in person only in the case of real emergencies.
