The rooms are excellent and the staff is also amazing, but please keep in mind that there is not amenities here. Also location is walking distance from the historic downtown area but it’s rough at night time, you cannot go out and feel safe as there is homeless and what it appears to be little gangs (again can’t blame the hotel for this more the city which is a shame).

My daughter and I stayed at HRD Luxury Rooms for nine nights, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, we were treated less like guests and more like family. This family-owned and operated property offers a level of warmth and hospitality that is increasingly rare. The location is ideal—directly across from Palermo Centrale train station and at the edge of the historic district—making it easy to explore Palermo and take day trips throughout Sicily. The rooms, breakfast area, and courtyard garden are beautiful, modern, spotless, and comfortable. For American travelers: the air conditioning works perfectly. Entry is a little different than many U.S. hotels, with a secure street entrance leading to a courtyard and then the building itself. We appreciated the added security. HRD is a boutique bed-and-breakfast rather than a traditional hotel. The personalized service is extraordinary. When the owner learned that my daughter and I are gluten-free, he personally brought us fresh gluten-free croissants every morning. It was one of many thoughtful touches that made our stay memorable. Carlotta curated a private tour and shared invaluable local knowledge. By the end of our stay, we felt we had made friends for life. If you are looking for beautiful accommodations, an unbeatable location, and genuinely caring hosts, HRD Luxury Rooms is a wonderful choice. We arrived as guests and leave with gratitude and lasting memories.

Newly refurbished, smart and comfortable room set in an old building in a great location. The area is nice and quiet at night and the building has a little garden courtyard to relax in anytime. Breakfast is a small selection but good quality food and the staff are very friendly and helpful. We really recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Palermo!

Sehr nettes Personal, gute Lage 10 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. Günf Minuten vom Ballaro Markt. Frühstück könnte man mit dunklem Brot etwas aufpeppen, aber sonst war alles bestens.

En résumé : Sans aucun doute l’un des meilleurs choix d’hébergement pour découvrir Palerme et ses environs. Allez-y les yeux fermés ! Tout y est : d’abord un emplacement idéal à proximité de tout (points d’intérêts, restaurants, marchés locaux, transports en commun, etc.). Le soin et le confort des lieux de premier ordre ont été aussi un haut fait de notre séjour : la chambre est très grande et aménagée de manière pratique, la magnifique décoration épurée entre modernité et tradition (le mur apparent en pierre brute vous laissera sans voix!) ainsi qu’une immense salle de bain. L’agréable petit-déjeuner avec ses produits typiquement siciliens (sucrés et salés) ainsi que le très bon café, le tout autour d’une jolie vue sur une paisible cours intérieure disposant d’arbres fruitiers, nous donnait de l’énergie pour nos visites de la journée. Pour finir la cerise sur le gâteau : les hôtes Anna et Carlotta ont été incroyablement chaleureuses et adorables, leur présence a réellement contribué à la réussite de notre séjour. Elles feront sincèrement leur maximum pour que vous soyez bien à l’hôtel ou pour vous renseigner sur la ville, toujours avec le sourire et avec beaucoup d’amour ! Merci pour votre disponibilité, votre efficacité et votre bienveillance.. vous êtes les meilleures on s’en souviendra toute notre vie !

Beautiful new property with great staff. Luxury property for a reasonable price. Carlotta was quick to respond to any queries and was even nicer in person. Gave us lots of great suggestions. Property was close to everything you’d want. Ballero Market was one block away, as was the train station.

The room was very spacious, and the private hot tub along with the outdoor area were great perks. Carlotta was very kind and helped me with all my questions and concerns. There are plenty of shops nearby, and it’s conveniently close to both the bus and train stations. This is the perfect area to stay if you want to be right in the center of everything!
