The room was very clean. The staff was excellent. They were so helpful, telling us where in the city we should go and what would be the best use of our time. They were also just very kind and welcoming, and made us feel at home.

Formidable B&B dans un sassi à la limite de la ZTL de Matera. L'endroit est idéal pour vister cette ville typique et charmante du sud de l'Italie. La chambre se trouve dans un sassi avec une belle vue depuis la chambre. L'endroit est egalement entouré de restaurants donc facile pour les options de repas. Le petit déjeuner a un grand choix de produits différents et de qualité. Un vrai régal pour bien commencer la journée. En conclusion, un charme total à l'italienne.

Il personale gentilissimo ed accogliente. Posizione conidissima e strategica per visitare i Sassi. Le camere pulitissime, funzionali, complete di ogni accessorio necessario per il soggiorno, arredate con gusto. La colazione abbondante e molto buona, con torte preparate da loro. Super, super consigliata, grazie per tutto noi torneremo sicuramente

L hotel è posizionato in prossimità del sasso barisano, per noi che eravamo in moto subito nelle vicinanze c’è il parcheggio. Stanza pulitissima e molto ampia, ci hanno fatto l upgrade dalla junior alle executive suite. Letto comodo forse per me il materasso troppo morbido. Ottima la colazione con prodotti del territorio. Un plasuso al personale perché oltre ad essere gentilissimo è estremamente cordiale, non è stata la mia prima volta e Matera ma questo è l hotel che ho preferito.

Già il parcheggio a Matera fa la differenza. Ma questa è davvero una struttura speciale. Bella, ben gestita, con persone gentilissime. Colazione strepitosa!

Struttura pulita,ordinata, nuova, personale gentilissimo. Posizione perfetta per visitare la città. La cosa che mi e piaciuta di più? La prima colazione ed in particolare la torta di ricotta e cioccolato, indimenticabile. In sintesi un posto perfetto.

This was a prime location in Matera. The view from my room was fantastic and I stepped out the door right into the historic part of the town. It was a lovely room with a very comfortable bed, the bathroom was perfect and the breakfast was the best I had my entire trip. I have not a single complaint. On top of that, the hosts were very helpful when I ran into some problems on the way there and was very late for check in. In fact, they upgraded my room, which was a very pleasant surprise. I would absolutely stay here again if in Matera. I loved the town and I loved the B&B!

We went and stayed for one night at Le Origini on our honeymoon! We had booked the junior suite and arrived in afternoon. We checked in and shortly discovered the tap on the jacuzzi was leaking badly and water pouring unto the floor. We explained this to the lady and she agreed it wasn't acceptable and offered we move across to the suite deluxe. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The mini whirlpool was very relaxing. Double bed very comfortable to sleep on. Room had some snacks/drinks in fridge. Breakfast was a help yourself buffet. A huge variety of food. Great selection. Matera very interesting. It is very old and beautiful to see carving from the rock. Lots of modern shops also. We were pleased with our one night stay. A special night! Thank you.

Bel établissement à l'entré du Sasso Barisano. Accueil chaleureux et rapide. Personnel très professionnel. Chambre propre, spacieux, avec tout les confort. Petit-déjeuner avec tout le nécessaire (y inclut produits sans gluten / lactose). Très apprécier le parking (10€ la journée) à 30mt de l’établissement, qui ce trouve en zone à trafic limité.

The hotel is very nice and well located with views of the old city and a few mins away from the main attractions in Matera. The staff is very nice. Breakfast could be improved but I understand the limitations of the kitchen size.
