We just got back from a week-long stay at the Dorian Hotel. We family of four had visited before about 3 years ago and thought it was a great place to stay but would have liked a pool. Guess what? New rooftop pool. Great views across the city from this pool. Only a short walk from the lake via Mu Ice Cream Shop. Garda is an incredible city. Rooms fairly simple but very spacious and comfortable beds excellent. Air conditioning extras around 60 euros for the week. Yet, in the heat. The entire staff was friendly, upbeat, and very helpful. The food, drinks, and snacks are excellent prices.

I can't recommend it enough for the good prices. The family-run apartment hotel dorian is conveniently situated and close to the lake. The families, one of whom is always present, are helpful and friendly. The apartments are good and well-maintained, and the linen was changed quite frequently. At the dorian, breakfast was served buffet-style, and it was very good. Both inside and out can be taken. The Garda is a wonderful spot to visit, and the dorian enhances the experience. We noticed numerous people drop in for a few drinks from other hotels due to the excellent bar. If not on the lake, their patrol spritz is the best in town. Two restaurants are close by on the same road, across the river opposite, and a short walk straight ahead would be my recommendation.

Just got back from an Ant stay at Donato. All the staff were really helpful and friendly. Located 510 mins walk from the lake. The rooftop pool was loved by the whole family and had a great view of the lake. Spacious apartment with balcony. Eat out every night as there are many restaurants to choose from. Definitely go on the boat to Simone for the day. Hope to return one day.

Our room was large and comfortable, with everything we need for a family of 4 including a super balcony and a useful kitchenette. Despite the heat during the day, air conditioning was provided at an extra cost, but we found we didn't need it. The decor was traditional, but very well kept and immaculately clean throughout. The roof terrace and pool were wonderful, with great views of Lake and Larocco as well as the underwater ones through the pools glass panel. The family and staff operating the hotel were great friendly, welcoming, professional and taking great care to make our experience the best they could possibly be. We ate and had a few drinks in the bar and it was not only delicious but very good value and the breakfast buffet was also excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend the dorian and hope to return soon! Garda itself is beautiful, with excellent lakeside beaches for swimming, and many very good restaurants and gelatos. It is very easy to walk around the lake by ferry or bus from garda, as well as day trips to Venice and Verone.

I wouldn't hesitate to suggest the dorian and highly hope to return soon! In mid bug, we spent a week at the Dorian and had a great time. The lakefront is only a 5 minute walk away, and it is in an excellent location. Our apartment, which had everything wed need for a family of four, including a huge balcony and a useful kitchenette, was roomy and comfy. Despite the fact that the day was hot, we discovered that we didn't require air conditioning, even though it was available. Traditional decor but in good condition, kept immaculately clean throughout. The rooftop terrace and pool were fantastic, and the pool glass panel gave us spectacular views of the lake, la rocco, and the ocean from the rooftop. The hotel family and staff went above and beyond to make our stay as best they could be, and they were quite kind, pleasant, and professional. We frequented the bar to eat and drink, which was not only tasty but also reasonably priced, and the breakfast buffet was also excellent. The Garda itself is lovely, with magnificent lake shorelines for swimming, as well as day excursions to Venice and Verone.
