The front desk staff were so friendly and eager to help. The hotel room was spacious and very clean. We loved the balcony and fresh air. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is close to the beach and tons of restaurants

My husband and I stayed at Villa La Tartana in Positano and absolutely loved our stay. The room was wonderful, and our small terrace had the most amazing view which made the experience even more special. Mario, the concierge, along with the rest of the staff, were so friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is in a great central location, close to many restaurants and beautiful panoramic views. We also really appreciated that it was not a far walk from the ferry dock to the hotel, which made arriving with luggage much easier. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Positano!

Delicious breakfast with fresh croissants, meat cheese, fruit yogurt and fresh squeezed OJ was the highlight for me. Cappuccino was excellent as well. Room very clean and amenities are good, provided: 2 bottles of water, room slipper and tissue. Location is excellent, near beach and shops. Excellent staff, we were group of 16 and they accommodate us very well. Eating area is cozy with limited space so we had to eat breakfast at different time, early birds crowd at 8 and others at 9am Hotel is not located directly off the street so when arrived at Positano, we were drop off at the main street gas station. So it was an easy 10 minutes walk down hill to the hotel. There is a closer drop of point that is about 6-7 minutes walk (easy path through lots of shop).Definitely would come back and stay again!

We loved our stay at Villa Tartana. The staff was excellent, especially Alfonso. He was the absolute best; charismatic, joyful and extremely helpful. I loved our balcony room. We arrived by ferry and if you have a carry-on, arriving to the hotel is doable. However, we still chose to pay the porters to bring the luggage to the hotel, but upon check-out since it was going down, we were able to easily do it ourselves. I much prefer a hotel closer to the beach if arriving by ferry. I recommend this hotel.

Magnificent location! Shops everywhere. Very close to beach, ferry and restaurants. Staff was wonderful especially Alfonzo!!! Room with balcony was beautiful!! Breakfast was fresh and delicious. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

What a nice boutique hotel. The staff was helpful and really focused on making sure we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was limited but delicious and the views from our room were great. There aaa plenty of places to eat close by and the beach was a quick walk. We would definitely stay here again.

The town is all hills and steps but this was a good spot 60-80 steps to the beach depending on the way you go.

First of all the area is beautiful! Next, the location is second to none! Villa la Tartana is only steps away from the beach, which is super convenient for dining, and getting off and on the ferries. At the hotel, Alfonso at the front desk is the most wonderful person you will ever meet. He went out of his way for us on more than one occasion to find us a Ferry when most were not running, copy bus schedules for us, help us with our luggage, arrange a private driver, etc. He’s just a lovely person. Next, there’s Maria. She makes the most wonderful scrambled eggs and fresh orange juice. The breakfast is absolutely delicious and the choices are unbelievable. We especially love their sliced tomatoes and fresh buffalo mozzarella! Last, the rooms are just delightful. Most of the rooms we stay in are too dark to even see inside our luggage. This room was light and bright, and the mattress didn’t feel like it had been there 20 years. We feel so blessed to have found this hotel.
