From the heart of the city is 15 to 20 minutes walk from The mere, a contemporary hotel in the modern part of Morocco. We cleaned our room every day and towels were changed every time it was used. Although the room was advertised as having a minibar, it turned out to be a small fridge that was empty and turned off. We turned it on and filled it with bottled water and sprite and it was ok for our stay. The bathroom was clean, as was the separate toilet, but there was no extraction fan in the toilet, so aerosol spray is a good idea. Toilet paper is changed frequently. The restaurant served a buffet breakfast which was adequate but not outstanding. We had one evening meal, which was also rather bland. The pool was spotless and cleaned daily. The front desk had a cashier point and the exchange rate was on par with the currency exchange shops that seem to be on every corner. The senior staff could be a little cold but I took this as more efficient than standoffish and it certainly helps if you speak French, their first other language. We walked to the center of the hotel and turned left to get to the end of the small road where rue mohammed I intersects at an angle. Continue down rue mohammed until you are close to the mosque. Very pleasant stay for 3 nights while visiting Morocco during the Christmas holidays! The american owners, Kristen and Shea, were very helpful and recommended restaurants that were not touristic. Please make sure you get warm pajamas in the winter because the rooms are large and the air conditioner is not big enough to warm the room and you! The traditional breakfast was delicious! If you use Google Maps or Maps. If you are not used to narrow roads, it may be difficult for me to find your way to the read. The closest parking spot is the Post Office, which is not far from the book as cars are not permitted to drive in the old town medina. For the first time, I would recommend asking them to pick you up from the post office to make sure. They will be glad to assist you!.

This hotel was really amazing! You are in the Assouel neighborhood, deep in the Medina, and close to local markets, which are actually shops of the locals. When we arrived it was so quiet from town that I felt like the entire book was ours. Abdul was very nice and drew me a few maps to show how to walk to town and even escorted us himself twice! Within a few hours we learned our way around and easily returned and forth to town. Our rooms were spacious and cleaned daily and had a good breakfast every morning.

A beautiful reading in the middle of the medina. A quiet place, away from the busy narrow alleys of the medina. Heat, the lady at the hotel was really helpful and friendly. Secured parking 10 minutes walk.

Super gemütliches Hotel, können das Zimmer "dar beida" ganz besonders empfehlen: Ruhig gelegen im 1. Stock (nicht zur Gasse hin) mit eigenem blickgeschützten Balkon.
