House Rules — Work&Chill Capsule Rooms

Check-In & Checkout
Check-in: 11:00 AM
Checkout: 9:00 AM
Early check-ins and late checkouts must be requested and confirmed in advance. Don't just show up early and hope for the best — send us a message. Unauthorized late checkouts will be charged the full nightly base rate plus any costs we incur relocating our next guests.
Guest Registration
We need the following from each guest before check-in:
Valid ID (photo or screenshot)
Contact details: home address, mobile number, and email
Attach them directly to our Airbnb conversation after booking. Easy.
Capacity
Maximum 2 guests per capsule. No exceptions. Any additional guest beyond the registered 2 will be charged P1,500 per head per night. Don't test us on this one.
No Visitors
Only registered guests are permitted inside the building and your capsule. No exceptions. This is non-negotiable.
Getting In
Two-step entry process:
Main building door: smart lock — code sent on check-in day
Your capsule door: lockbox + key combo — instructions in your check-in message
Do NOT double lock the main door — other guests need to get in too.
Do NOT access any capsule room other than your own.
Return the key to the lockbox after every use.
Keep your key safe. Losing it will be your problem to solve.
Quiet Hours
10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Capsule walls are thin. Your neighbors can hear everything. Keep it down — always, but especially during quiet hours.
No Smoking
No smoking, vaping, or e-cigarettes anywhere on the premises. Not in your capsule, not in the hallway, not in the shared spaces. Violations result in a fine plus any costs from losing the next booking because we can't get rid of the smell in time. Not worth it.
No Parties
Strict. No exceptions. No gatherings with unreported guests, no noise violations, no trashing the space. Your fellow capsule guests are trying to sleep, study, and pass their boards — act accordingly.
No Pets
Sorry, fur babies stay home. Not even the really cute ones.
No Illegal Substances or Activities
Ever. No exceptions.
Shared Kitchen Rules
Clean As You Go. Every time. No exceptions. Wash your dishes immediately after use, wipe down the stove and countertop after cooking, and don't leave food lying around. Nobody wants to cook next to yesterday's mess or deal with insects that showed up for the leftovers. Trash bin is in the kitchen — use it.
No deep frying or strong-smelling cooking — this means no tuyo, tinapa, bagoong, durian, or marang. Your fellow capsule guests will thank you.
Shared Bathroom Rules
Clean As You Go applies here too. Don't linger — other guests need to use it too. Leave it the way you found it or better.
No Laundry
No doing laundry inside the unit or shared spaces. Several laundry shops are within walking distance — ask us and we'll point you to the nearest one.
No Hanging of Clothes
No hanging of clothes, towels, or anything else on the balcony. Not your drying area, not your storage rack.
Left Luggage
We have 2 cabinets available at the hallway of our Loft style apartments for left luggage. Available upon request, subject to availability. Message us in advance to reserve a slot.
Deliveries
For food deliveries, meet your rider at the gate. Riders are not permitted inside the building.
Parking
Free street parking along J. Barlin Street — first come, first served. Park before 4PM and do not leave overnight.
Paid parking along P. Noval Street if J. Barlin is full.
Motorcycle riders — sidewalk parking at 1082 P. Campa. Don't block the black gate.
We are not responsible for anything that happens to your vehicle.
Maintenance
Message us first for any maintenance concerns and we'll coordinate with Manong Noel on your behalf. He is our on-site maintenance guy, available Monday 8:00 AM through Saturday 11:00 AM. Outside his hours, we're your point of contact. Minor fixes like lightbulbs and curtains are non-emergency items — we'll get to them, just not ahead of urgent repairs. Patience appreciated.
Cleaning
Our cleaning fee assumes you're a decent human being who cleans up after themselves. If our housekeeping crew walks into a disaster zone post-checkout, that's an extra P1,500. Empty the fridge before you leave. Leftover food goes in the trash or leave it for our cleaner. Your call.
Energy Conservation
Turn off the lights, aircon, and unplug your chargers when you head out. The planet will thank you. So will our electricity bill.
No Generator
In case of a power outage, we're at the mercy of the grid. Keep a flashlight app handy just in case.
A Word About Manila Nightlife
There's no curfew here — come and go as you please. That said, this is Manila — staying out very late is not advisable for your own safety. Stay sharp, stay aware.
Damages
If you break something, tell us. We're not monsters — honesty goes a long way. A quick apology and a heads-up is always better than us discovering it at checkout.
Cancellations & Alterations
Plans change, we get it. But requests outside the full refund window can't be accommodated. Read the cancellation policy before you book and save yourself the headache.
Right to Refuse
We reserve the right to decline accommodation to guests who are rude, disrespectful, or abusive toward our staff or other residents. Life's too short for bad vibes.
