HOUSE RULES AND REMINDERS
Only confirmed guests are permitted in the villa. No extra guests or visitors after booking, this is for the safety of other guests and yours. We will not accommodate guests that were not part of the booking.
A 500Php deposit is required upon arrival for the room key. An additional charge of 1500Php if the door is damaged or if you have lost/broke the key as we have to replace the whole lock system. If it’s all good - we give the 500 Php deposit back.
Beach towels are not provided, kindly keep our room towels within the vicinity. 500Php is charged for lost towels.
Leave the shoes and slippers outside the common area/kitchen. Keep the common area and kitchen clean and sand-free.
Avoid dipping your slippers in the pool, make sure to shower first to rinse off sweat and sand.
Only human waste goes to the toilet bowl. Toilet paper and sanitary items get stuck in the pipes if you flush heaps of it. Kindly throw it in the trash bin instead.
Please do not pee in the shower to avoid any pungent odor in your room or bathroom.
Extra fee will be charged if you break stuff and leave stains in the sheets or towels- let us know right away with the stains.
Secure a driver's license if you plan to rent a scooter or a motorbike. Make sure they provide you with a registration, a plate number and helmet. There are fines when you get caught driving without it.
Do not drink and drive. Drive mindfully. Do not put valuable items in your UBOX because some keys would fit in it. We have a small safety deposit box for each room.
If it belongs to someone else, get permission to use it.
If you do not know how to operate, ask someone first.
When you are out - turn off air conditioning and all lights in the room and same goes to the hot shower unit.
Kindly turn off the switch to the gas stove tank after use especially at night.
Always leave the lights in the hallway on at night.
Smoking is not allowed INSIDE THE ROOMS, same goes with lit candles.
No illegal substances or activities allowed - police will be called.
If you rent the whole house and want to have a party, kindly inform the host first, extra cleaning fee and some special rules may apply.
Keep noise levels to a minimum after midnight. We are also located in a residential community and although this is a holiday destination, it's home to many locals.
Clean as you go- be considerate of the other guests in the house.
Segregate the trash properly. Throw the organic stuff/oil at the organic can so it won’t smell or attract animals. Do not throw food/oil in the sink or else it will get clogged. We’ve placed labeled trash cans in the common area.
Do not leave food on the table, always store it in the fridges or inside the containers as there are stray cats sometimes.
We kindly ask that you’d be respectful of our home and treat it as if it were yours.

DOORS AND WINDOWS
We kindly remind you to close the doors before sundown. Our lush surroundings, while a haven for serenity, also beckon some less welcome guests—mosquitoes. By ensuring doors are closed, you safeguard against any uninvited buzzing companions. In the event that a few adventurous mosquitoes find their way indoors, simply switch on the fan and the air conditioning. This will not only keep you cool and comfortable but also help deter any pesky intruders.
REFRIGERATOR:
Please refrain from placing any glassware in the freezer. While it may seem like a convenient spot to chill your drink, the sudden change in temperature can cause the glass to shatter or even explode.
CCTV
CCTV is installed outside the rooms for your safety - no recording devices installed inside the rooms.
SAFETY BOXES
You will be provided with instructions on how to change the password so you can keep your valuables.
INTERNET
We're inviting you to embrace a digital detox during your stay at our villa. Our goal is for you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of Siargao and to cherish every moment of your experience.
While we do offer WiFi access with a limited data allowance, it's primarily intended for essential communication purposes such as contacting tour providers or checking messages on social media. However, if you're visiting for work and require a higher data capacity, we recommend bringing your own WiFi modem/connection to ensure reliable connectivity. Our holiday home's connection may not always be dependable, especially during heavy rain, windy seasons, or peak holiday periods when connectivity issues can occur.
Alternatively, there are several cafes in the area catering to digital nomads, equipped with upgraded systems designed for work-related tasks. Some of these cafes may charge an extra fee for WiFi usage or require you to make a minimum purchase in exchange for access. This option provides a reliable and conducive environment for those needing to work remotely.

WATER AND GAS
Water is provided, if it gets empty, you can replace it with a fresh water jug into the dispenser. We make sure there is always extra cooking gas - if you are not sure how to operate. Kindly reach out to us.
BLACK OUTS
Make sure emergency lights are plugged in so you can use them for unscheduled power interruption, incase water is emptied after a duration of power outage, there is a local water pump just near the cement stairs outside and there are pale and cans that you can fill water with, the caretaker can also assist in filling up the cans for your shower and washing. We are also connected to GLWSI, another source of water and they should be working even if there are blackouts.
GENERATOR
Our generator is reserved for essential use during blackouts, providing power for necessities such as water, lighting, and charging devices. However, please note that it may not support appliances like the fridge, air conditioners, or hot showers. In the event of an extended power outage, we're here to assist and can arrange for a generator if necessary. As a homestay villa rather than a resort, there may be additional charges associated with fueling the generator.
Unscheduled blackouts are typically temporary, with power being restored after a short period. In the rare event of a prolonged outage, the local power authority, Siarelco, ensures that the entire island is informed. We'll also keep our guests informed so they can make the most of their time outdoors during such occurrences.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
We may have a dog in the vicinity. If you prefer not to have the dog around during your stay, please let us know in advance, and our caretaker will ensure the dog is relocated.
As our house is situated in a tropical environment, we encourage you to embrace the island experience and remain flexible. While we take great care to keep the rooms and villa clean, there are occasional factors beyond our control. This may include encounters with insects, particularly during the rainy season, as well as fluctuations in humidity, occasional internet slowdowns, or power outages. These elements are part of what makes life in Siargao uniquely extraordinary. Embrace the richness of nature's bounty, the spirit of exploration, the warmth of local smiles, the genuine friendliness of Filipinos, the thrill of surfing, and so much more that the city cannot replicate. We hope you fully immerse yourself in all these experiences during your vacation.
Please note that there is a restaurant next door playing music. However, the area remains tranquil during the daytime and observes a curfew starting at 9 pm.
