We had a great time here last autumn. The tents have been very new and although it was quite windy we could sleep well. The owner is very nice and took care about us very well. Would definitely recommend that place!

When we arrived, the hotel inquired if we had a reservation, so we assumed they had forgotten. We were led to our tent, which hadn't been opened, and there was a musty odor. The windows were not rolled up, and we were instructed to do it on our own. There was no ice because the refrigerator was still off, even though they did provide a sizable bag upon request. The kitchen was closed on the first night because they shipped all the employees home that day because we were the only guests. At breakfast the next day, we had to order dinner. The break had not been cleaned and was piled with ash and cigarettes. Due to the fact that there were only two warm blankets for the three of us and no warm gowns as advertised on the second day, staff was kind and helpful. I had high expectations for R 100. 00 per person per night.

It is a pleasant place to stay with a lovely view of the Add Elephant Park from the lodge. The location next to the south gate is perfect if you want to visit the park. The lodge was nice and clean and the staff were very helpful.

There is an attractive hotel and an attractive location, but the ambiance isn't too bad. The friendly staff is also welcoming. And then, the food in the restaurant is also very good. After that, the facility here was good. Subsequently, the cost is worth it in terms of value if you want to drive through Add yourself.

The owner and staff are very kind and care about you. A must do accommodation with great facilities and delicious food. The onsite bar makes for great discussions about the day's adventures while sitting in front of the fire. Add Elephant Park is only a short drive away and I advise also to reserve a game drive at Shota Safaris.

A great jewel! Karen and her daughter were stars from the beginning, explaining and helping with accommodations and activities in the area. The tent was a wonderful unique experience and so beautifully decorated, a great idea! The evening we had a wonderful meal in the lodge with a few locals, which we thought created a great vibe! Again, Karen and her daughter go the extra mile for the guests even during mealtimes. We will highly recommend anyone to stay there and stay again!.

Het is met name een prachtige plek, vlak voor de ingang van Addo park. De kamers en vooral de tenten zien er fantastisch uit, het terrein is perfect in orde. Alles is zo mooi dat het haast een beetje pretentieus is (niets mis mee). Maar staff en management zijn (2017) nog dusdanig onervaren dat het service niveau niet helemaal klopt bij deze prachtige locatie. Ondanks dat de locatie en restaurant de hele week vol waren geboekt waren bepaalde gerechten (best veel) de hele week niet beschikbaar, terwijl je zou verwachten dat voorraden toch makkelijk aan te vullen zijn. Verder alleen maar kleine aanmerkingen, zoals bijoorbeeld het missen van degelijke servetten bij het diner, of het zwembad dat een algenprobleem leek te hebben. Roomservice in de tenten zou wel een fantastische aanvulling zijn! In potentie een prachtige en fantastische locatie om Addo te bezoeken, maar de puntjes moeten nog wel op de i worden gezet.
