This is a wonderful relaxing way to go camping. Everything is simply turned up. There is a wooden hut with a refrigerator and electric outlet. The cooking pans and plates are all supplied. There is a fire pit and a pallet sofa outside. The safari tent has 2 single beds and 1 double. Very comfortable with fluffy pillows and duvets, there is a private chemical toilet. Also, you have access to a private shower room, which is shared with the other clamping tent. The clamping site is situated in a peaceful location with a little stream nearby. If you don't want to cook, the restaurant with amazing views over the alpine is highly recommended with amazing views over the alpine.

We will definitely be back. Last week, we stayed here for 5 nights, we only had 2 reservations, but we were incredibly appreciative that we stayed an additional 3 nights. All bathrooms, showers, and washing rooms are spotless and filled with hot water. Since the eatery and swimming pool were closed during the off-season, the owners showed us around the restaurant, which has beautiful views and is sure to provide tasty food when open from Easter. Julie and her husband, the owners, were very kind, helpful, and attentive, and both speak good English. There are some fantastic scenic walks planned for, one of which starts just outside the campground entrance.

The setting of this place has beautiful scenery. Located right above the small town of paroles. There is ample hot water in the toilets and showers. The place is camper caravan friendly with a water and electric connection at every pitch. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner, who is a kind and helpful man. It's a lovely experience to hike, walk, and sit by the pool. The showers and toilets are clean, and we didn't try the bar or restaurant because we were in the city at night.

To get here, we travelled up into the Sierra Nevada foothills. While the road became narrower, we were fine in our motorhome given that there was little traffic. We made a few unwise turns because of the poorly marked area. But the inconvenience was worthwhile. After passing through the gate, you descend through gorgeous lawns for tents before reaching a flat, traveled area for motorhomes and caravans. If you wish, there is plenty of shade and fantastic views of the valley below. We were on 3,500 feet! Here, the air is cooler. Takeout and brunch were offered on the site and the restroom area was spotless. The walk down into the village, which has several tiny grocery and eateries, took 10 minutes. There are clearly marked hikes accessible from the site. This area was a calm, chilly retreat from the busy coastal sites in the middle of September.
