# Welcome to Villa Xabia! ☀️
We hope you have a wonderful stay in our home!
To ensure a pleasant experience for you, our neighbours, and us as owners, we kindly ask you to follow these house rules.
## 🛏 General Use of the Villa
- Please treat the villa as if it were your own home. We have created this special place with love and care, and we trust that you will treat it with respect.
- **No smoking indoors.** Smoking is only permitted on the terraces or in the garden, provided that cigarette butts and ashes are disposed of properly.
- **No pets allowed.**
- **Maximum number of guests:** Only the number of guests included in the reservation may stay overnight. Additional overnight guests are not permitted without prior approval.
- Furniture should not be moved to other rooms or outdoors, unless it is intended for such use (such as sun loungers or garden chairs).
## 🔇 Peace & Quiet
Villa Xabia is located in a peaceful residential neighbourhood, and we kindly ask you to respect our neighbours.
- **Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.** Please avoid loud music or excessive noise during these hours.
- Parties, events, or noisy gatherings are not permitted without prior approval.
- Please refrain from playing loud music outdoors, particularly around the swimming pool.
## 🏊♀️ Swimming Pool & Garden
- Use of the swimming pool is entirely at your own risk. Children must always be supervised by an adult when swimming.
- For safety reasons, **glassware and other breakable items are not allowed in or around the pool.**
- Please avoid entering the pool with sunscreen or sand on your body. A quick rinse before swimming helps keep the water clean.
- After use, please place the sun lounger cushions on the dining table underneath the wooden pergola.
- Our gardener regularly maintains the garden and plants. Maintenance visits are carried out as discreetly as possible.
- Please do not step into the planted garden beds.
- You are welcome to use the BBQ, but please clean it thoroughly after use.
## 🧼 Cleanliness & Waste Disposal
- Please keep the villa clean and tidy throughout your stay.
- Upon departure, please leave the villa **broom-clean** and follow the departure checklist provided in the guestbook.
- Please separate your waste and dispose of it in the appropriate municipal containers. Their locations can be found in the guestbook.
- **Do not leave rubbish bags next to the containers.** This is prohibited in Spain and may result in fines.
## 🍽 Kitchen & BBQ
- Feel free to enjoy the BBQ, but please leave it clean and free of grease after use.
- Please wash all kitchen utensils, crockery, and cutlery and return them to their designated cupboards.
- If you use the dishwasher, please ensure it is emptied before departure.
## 💡 Energy & Water Consumption
We kindly ask you to be mindful of your energy and water consumption.
- Switch off the air conditioning when leaving the villa or individual rooms.
- Turn off the lights when leaving a room.
- Do not leave taps running unnecessarily. Water is a precious resource in this region.
- Additional charges may apply if electric vehicles are charged using the villa's electricity supply.
## 🔐 Safety & Responsibility
- Always close and secure all windows, doors, and shutters when leaving the villa.
- Please activate the alarm system using the tag provided. Instructions can be found in the guestbook.
- Report any damage or defects immediately. We would much rather resolve any issues together promptly and smoothly than discover them after your departure.
## 🚫 Visitors & External Services
- External visitors or service providers (such as private chefs, massage therapists, or photographers) are only permitted with prior approval.
- Commercial filming, photoshoots, or promotional activities are not permitted without the owners' consent.
## 🚨 Emergencies
- The guestbook contains important emergency telephone numbers, including those for doctors, emergency medical services, and the police.
- You will also find information about the nearest pharmacy and hospital.
- A fire extinguisher and first aid kit are available in the villa. Please refer to the guestbook for their locations and instructions.
