The hotel looks just like the pictures. The price is worth it with the quality. If you want to explore the city of bangkok, you should visit the khaosan area. This area is very quiet and has condos and good restaurants, many of which are japanese. Its quite intimidating at night, so going out at that time to buy something from a 7eleven takes around 10 minutes on foot through completely empty streets. A good tip would be to take cabs to get back later at evening or order delivery.4.8/518 Jun 2024

The rooms are spacious, and the beds are not particularly firm. The staff is friendly. I am happy to visit at any time in the future. Despite being not young, they are kept up nicely. Longterm stays are also something i would consider.4.8/511 Jun 2024

This is a great hotel in san francisco. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I feel i need to address one comment from recomended previous reviews regarding the staffs english and helplessness. We were checked in by this security guard and we dont speak any Thai but it worked, he was lovely and very nice. Im visiting thailand so if you are really looking for someone to speak perfect english, and our phones have translation apps on them these days. Its great for local people to have good jobs, with grins and nods going incredibly far. Loved that the room had tv, which was extremely handy. Also enjoyed using the rooftop, we loved the sauna, followed by soaking in the outdoor shower and swimming in pool. Overall, found this to be ecstatic and relaxing, like an oasis in middle of crowded city. Very safe and walkable area. Looking at the beautiful buildings, gardens, shops. Excellent coffee is also available at ppal humvit 49, 7-11 around the corner, massage parlor, etc. Tuk turks are readily available to flag down from the street just aroundtheclock. One thing ive found was that my towels were reek of wear and should be replaced with new ones. In general, im not sure you can find anything comparable for the price in this area4.8/56 May 2024

We will stay here again. Fast internet. A little old, but very clean and comfortable. We love the sound bar and dining area. Pillows are a bit too hard for me so if you like soft pillows you might have some neck pain. There are few parking spaces but the security guy was very nice with his guiding skills. This apartment hotel was fantastic! The location is in the trendy thong lor. Also known as the japanese neighborhood of bkk. All of the hip bars and nightclubs are close by. Excellent price for a roomy, contemporary apartment. A little antiquated but wellmaintained. Overall very clean. An apple hv to watch Netflix! - Washing machine. Very handy for longterm travelers. Large wardrobe, safe, kitchenette, microwave, and large fridge. Near 71.11. Friendly staff. Quick checkin and no key deposit. Tuk uk service from 07.00 to 16.30. Located within walking distance of both the tennis club and the nearby rooster club. Small rooftop pool if you enjoy privacy and beautiful views. For those who dont mind long walks, its quite encircles the nearest bahnhof or phrom pong. I advise taking cabs or motorcycle taxis. It would have been great unless the lukewarm service lasted longer than 16. 30. They have refueling stove, but there are no pots nor pans to cook with, which was kind of odd. I would recommend staying here whenever they have an opening. The apartments down living with custom home design in the rooms are very large. Staff provide anything that is needed extra and have transportation service to the main points.4.6/525 Jun 2024

A tiny boutique hotel in the center of the thonglor district in a european style. There are markets, cafes, restaurants, especially japanese restaurants and shops near the hotel, which is close to samaritivej khumvit hospital. The main thoroughfare of soi thhongland is only ten minutes away from the town center, and not too far from shivat. Although i enjoy walking, the motel offers tractors to the market and otter locations like the one at trawangla bts. Ive stayed here several times, but even though its centrally located on oai subsoi, it is very quiet at night. A small exercise room, pond, sauna, rooftop sitting area, as well as jupiter space, are all present. Very cozy and wellfurnished accommodations are provided. Staffing at la 49 is defining qualities. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, from guards to front desk to cleaning crew. You should be comfortable and taken care of by the staff, they genuinely want you to feel at home. I spent eight days here, and the rooms were excellent value for the money. The key to success was customer service. Our stay at the la 49 hotel was fantastic! We arrived on an early flight and were able to check in early thanks to the staff. The property is clean and quiet with a washing machine, induction, plates, cups, and microwave. Hotel also provides tuktu transportation to nearest bts stations and the emporium. The hotel offers free tuktun service to the closest train station called phrom pong, making commutes quite simple. Excellent service, spotless accommodations, and fantastic personnel. Despite its location not very close to downtown, the hotel provides excellent service and friendly staff to guests at the nearby train stop called pendi phuket.4.6/527 Nov 2023

This place is not recommended. The location is a bit far from the center of bangkok, but there is free tuktu to the skytrain. It took some time to find cabs back to hotels. Nice apartment with selfcontained, however no balcony. There is an outdoor pool and gym beneath.4.6/55 Mar 2023

This place offers excellent value for the money. The location is a bit far from train station, but its tuktok that will take you there until 5 pm. Its incredibly spacious and wellmaintained, on the old side but in excellent condition. 24hour security, the pool is almost the size of billiards, yet it was always empty, making it advisable to unwind. Our expectations were exceeded by la 49 hotel in bangkok! The rooms were roomy and immaculate, with the added convenience of having japanese toilets for added comfort. Our stay was made even more enjoyable by the staffs exceptional politeness and attentiveness. Additionally, the shuttle service was convenient for transportation. The only drawback was the slightly distant location from the city center, but overall, it offers a fantastic option for ensuring utmost comfort and enjoyment in Bangkok.4.6/521 Jan 2023

If you intend to cook, you will need pots and pans. There is an exercise room and a pool. For quick trips down to the sky train, the hotel offers parking and one taxi.
