The hotel was really great. Mark was an amazing host and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable. The only minor downside was that the toilet flush and shower pressure were a bit weak. The continental breakfast was delicious, and we really enjoyed it each morning. Quite easy to go to the city center as there is a bus stop nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

L'hôte des lieux est vraiment super. Très agreable , sympathique. Le lieu avec parking est bien situé. La chambre avec frigo est assez grande. La chambre avec la déco anglaise d'une autre époque peut sembler désuet pour certains mais nous avon bien aimé. Le petit dejeuner continental était vraiment très complet et de qualité avec plein de fruits frais. Nous avons passé un tres bon sejour. Merci

I never stayed in a B&B before and this one was old-fashionly cute. The staff was friendly and very helpful. In the breakfast room you have a choice of cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit which you get yourself and toast, eggs, coffee, tea which is served to you. This is a straight drive to the main tourist areas of Oxford. The bus is right outside but we drove. There’s a fridge and coffee, tea in the room also. We stayed two nights in August 2025.

Mark, the manager, was very helpful in all respects and made me feel welcome & went out of his way to help me with booking a taxi and other requests. The B&B is beginning to show its age, but was located in my preferred area of Oxford and close to the bus stops. A little more breakfast with a more choices would have been nice - but overall, I had an enjoyable stay.

Stayed four nights in single room in Sept 2020. Room was clean and quiet, and the host was very attentive and helpful. Only minor complaints were that the wifi cut out a few times and the parking lot is small, and thus required some maneuvering to get in and out of. But you're within walking distance of Summertown shopping, and a short drive into downtown Oxford. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Best breakfast I've had in a long time and extremely charming and helpful manager. Good value, not far from downtown and off street parking, something hard to find in overpriced Oxford.
