Don’t let it fool you. This was a great place to stay and if I’m ever back in Billings this is where I’m staying. The old school feel made it felt like I was traveling. The breakfast was the best I’ve had from a hotel. They still use real keys too which is awesome in this day and age.

An older motel, but it has a great western theme. Nothing fancy, but nice. And I loved the cathedral ceiling in our 2nd story room. They do a nice job connecti g the present to the paat.

What a delight the Dude Rancher lodge is! Loved the old school western decor. Great staff, clean and comfy room, super convenient location. Don't skip the great breakfast in the cafe. Would happily stay here again.

This place is a vibe! Old-school setting and hospitality. The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are really quiet, the bed was comfortable, and for breakfast there are generous portions of classic diner goodness. You don't find a lot of places like this anymore.

This is a quaint motel from about 1947. The room was adequately equipped. Still has original light fixtures and carpeting which is nicely kept.. the carpet has the brands from the ranchers who helped start the motel. It was so quaint. Staff were helpful and were able to answer our tourist questions.

Such a good place to stay. Breakfast is good. I would have liked it at 6 am vs 7. I let something in the room and was able to go back and retrieve it. Friendly staff. I will stay again and the old is charming!!

Enjoyable one night stay at the Dude Rancher. Older motel in Billings, but clean and safe. Be aware, the parking is tight if you choose to park close to your room in the off the street parking area. Staff was efficient and helpful. In fact, the lady who was working the evening shift when we checked in voluntarily moved her vehicle so we could park closer to our room. Probably not a lot of hotel employees would inconvenience themselves like that in order to make a guest’s stay more convenient. Jim and Lori. Altoona, Iowa
