Self-check-in was a little confusing because we had the incorrect door code. Luckily, I guess luckily, there was someone there sitting outside who walked up to us with a clipboard and some notes. She checked the information and gave us the correct door code for our room. Afterwards, it was smooth sailing. We were there at exactly check-in time at 3 PM, so I don't know what would have happened if there were no one there. We called the information line for the hotel and left a message before we ran into the door-code angel. We never got a call back. Not sure about these places with no front desk or office, but everyone we talked to there seemed not to mind. The cleaning staff was very friendly when we met them the next day, and you could see how hard they were working, which also confirms our finding that our room was super clean.

Took a last minute trip and needed a hotel on the Fourth of July. This hotel exceeded all expectations for a studio. Very clean and had a working fireplace and tv. Self check in made it super convenient. I will be coming back when I need another cozy, chill and reliable stay.

We didn’t have to use the fireplace. It was a nice addition to the cabin feel. Very convenient location to town. Completely online check in and emailed locked door code. It was easy, convenient, cozy, a great night’s sleep. Looking forward to ski season and hoping to stay here again!

It was a nice quiet stay. I had a hard time getting into the room and the housekeepers had to help me get in but besides that it was cute and charming and quiet. I slept great.

Our room was clean, cozy and decorated nicely. The fireplace wasn't working correctly in the first room so Rosie, the head housekeeper was extremely helpful in setting us up in a similar room. She went out of her way to assure that we were happy and comfortable with the second room. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and will stay there when we visit So. Lake Tahoe next.

It was a quiet lodge. No staff were around, which wasn't an issue for our 1 night stay. The room was comfortable, and nicely decorated. A few bottles of water in the fridge would be a nice addition. We appreciated the hot cocoa and tea selection as non-coffee drinkers.
